Ryobi RY18LMX40A-0 18V ONE+ Cordless 40cm Brushless Lawnmower (Bare Tool)

I was a little sceptical on this product when I initially decided to buy it…could not see that a drill battery would be enough to mow the lawn. But it’s been fantastic. The double battery and intelligent power boost is great, gets through long grass with no issues and provides a great quality cut. Using a 4Ah battery with backup 2Ah in the second slot and have not run low on power yet. The mower likes to be started with the blade off the lawn to get up to speed (i.e tilted backwards). But once going it is really powerful. Easy to manage in use and light to push, a little difficult to carry as the handle is not in a great place (balance wise), but not a huge issue. Good quality build. Really pleased so far.

Great mower but a tad pricey so expected it to do a good job which it does. It stows away very neatly and is super easy to fold the handle. I love how I don't need to keep flipping an electric cable out of the way on each pass so mowing is much quicker and easier now. My only disappointment is it doesn't have a rear roller so will not give your lawn a stripey finish, instead it just leaves thin lines where the wheels have been. Not I've got to look for a decent cylinder mower to continue my lawn passion :)

Great product, quick delivery. Good cut and with 1 battery can easily cope with a small to medium size garden. Those who have larger garden will need 2 batteries however this mower has the ability to plug in 2 at the same time so happy days!

Bought this with a couple of other Ryobi One tools and have a total of 4 batteries. All working well so far. This mower is easy to use, with two batteries has a decent amount of power. It is light weight easy to lift in and out of the car if required

It would have been a good machine if it were possible to attach the handles. The screws provided did not stay in place, so fell out and handles fell off. Had to fix with gaffer tape. I suspect they were not the right screws for this model. Otherwise the mower was OK, but struggled with longer grass.

I got this to replace my old Bosch lawn mower. It was easy to assemble with minimum effort needed. Build quality is great and it seems much more solid than the Bosch mowers I have owned in the past. What I really like is that it is really easy to store with the handle collapsing and folding very easily, on my old mower it always felt more like I dismantling it than storing it. Battery life seemed good, I ran it on 2x 5.0mAh batteries. Admittedly my lawn is not too big but the batteries easily lasted. In use it felt good and was easy to push and felt smooth. The finish was good, and the lawn looked good when I had finished. Overall I am very happy with this and would happily recommend it.

Bought to replace a Ryobi mower that had decided that charged batteries, weren’t. Easy to assemble and cuts just as well as its predecessor, but is a little quieter. The height adjuster is not as easy to use as the machine it replaced but it is manageable. When you start it, there is a disconcerting split second hesitation before it runs. With 2 batteries on board it is, if anything, slightly more long lasting than before. Runs for 40 to 45 mins and does a good job. Plenty of room in the grass box and it fills it up.

Packaging and assembly was simple and easy. However the mower is powerless and does not cut grass above 2-3cms without constantly cutting out. This product is fine if you have a small garden (less than 10sqm) and cut it weekly at a medium heigh setting. Outside of that description the mower won’t cope without either constantly stalling or the battery running low. I used 2 5amp 18 volt major batteries both fully charged and the mower couldn’t complete a cut on a medium sized (20sqm) lawn. I ended up having to strum the heavier areas and cut the grass over 2 days. Have now returned the product.

Der Rasenmäher kann schnell zusammengebaut werden. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist sehr gut. Meine nicht-Ryobi 6Ah Akkus funktionieren mit dem Mäher. Er kann im "ein Akku Betrieb" genutzt werden oder mit zwei Akkus. Der zweite Akku erhöht nicht die Leistung sondern nur die Nutzungsdauer. Die Höhenverstellung arbeitet einwandfrei. Der Rasenmäher lässt sich schnell zusammenklappen so das er sich platzsparend verstauen lässt. Die Leistung ist überraschen gut. Selbst hohes dichtes dickes Gras schneidet er ohne das er mit der Drehzahl runter geht oder gar stoppt. Eine eingebaute Motorbremse stoppt das Messer sehr schnell. Was mir nicht so gut gefällt ist das der Mulcheinsatz eine etwas bessere Passform haben könnte. Er passt zwar, aber es sind doch noch Lücken da wo Gras durchgeht. Hier bin ich von Ryobi was besseres gewohnt. Und mir ist aufgefallen, wenn ich den Mäher unter Hecken schiebe öffnet sich die Akkuabdeckung sodass Gras und Dreck unter die Haube gelangen. Hier wäre ein Verschluss gegen versehentliches Öffnen sinnvoll. Allerdings rechtfertigt sich da kein voller Sternabzug. Der Rasenmäher ist für meinen Garten schon überdimensioniert, nur hat Ryobi keinen kleineren im Angebot mit der gleichwertig hohen Technik (brushless Motor, Teleskopgriff, Klappsystem,...).

Beställde gräsklipparen som vi inte uppfattade kom från en privatperson som det kändes. En gräsklippare som låg i en låda som varit öppen, igentejpad flera ggr.med flertalet fel, den var trasig kändes som en typ av försäljningsbedrägeri ..inte Amazons fel för kundservice är outstanding..

Mir gefällt an dem Mäher, dass er sich in seiner Leistung dem Bedarf anpasst und somit gut Akku spart. Da dies mein erster Akku-Mäher ist, war ich gespannt, ob ich meinen Garten ohne Probleme "durch mähen" konnte. Ich habe mir im Zubehörhandel die 6Ah Akkus gekauft und bin damit äußerst zufrieden. Sie und der Mäher schaffen nicht nur meinen 500 m² Garten, sondern auch noch die Wege um mein Grundstück herum, die ebenfalls gemäht werden müssen. Auch danach sind die Akkus noch halb voll. Der Mäher selbst hat dennoch aus meiner Sicht zwei Schwächen. Die Ergonomie des Fangkorbs ist ungünstig. Dadurch kann der Korb sich nicht komplett füllen. Er hat nach hinten einen zu steilen Winkel, welches nur halbe Befüllung ermöglicht. Das sollte man noch mal ändern. Der zweite Punkt der mich stört, ist die durchsichtige Klappe, die die Akkus schützt. Sie ist sehr lappig und ich habe Angst, dass sie nach kurzer Zeit kaputt geht. Ich hoffe, es gibt sie dann wenigstens als Ersatzteil einzeln zu kaufen. Also Vorsicht bei der Bedienung. Dennoch bin ich zufrieden und freue mich, für diesen Mäher entschieden zu haben. Ach ja, die Leistung ist wirklich gut.
