If you've got small hands or a weak grip then this probably isn't the grabber for you - as I've just found out to my cost. (I hadn't kept the packaging - as it hadn't occurred to me that there would be an issue with something as simple as a stick with a handle (!) - so have been unable to return it. The company replied to my emails promptly though, and were apologetic about not being able to issue a refund.)The handle is large and the 'grabby' bit has finger grooves which, if you've got small hands, are too far apart. The mechanism is quite tough to squeeze (well, it was for me), so I've been ending up with a painful, sore wrist after only ten minutes' litter-picking.The grabber didn't hold on to items very well either, and the magnet didn't work. I've noticed that lot of grabbers available look to have a similar-sized magnet on the end, but they're really tiny and don't really seem up to the job of connecting with anything bigger than a paper clip or key.

I like the length able 2 reach from afar.It has been good for most things but definitely not all.My one before this folded good function especially for taking out.This one is not as strong as my previous one strength wise for grabbing, pulling etc.The grip is ok mostly.Also, a bit annoying but sometimes the handle turns and unable to lock or unlock my door or drawers.I'm not always able to due to this so suggestion would be fixed handle so it doesn't turn better grip maybe resolve the strength issues and if offered a folding design that would be a better option for me anyway.

I bought 3 different reachers for after my hip replacement and this was the best because both sides of the jaws are lined with rubber and everything is contained inside the stem. It is the strongest of the reachers I bought and also the most accurate at picking up tricky objects. If you only buy one buy this. Ignore the gimmicks on others like magnets and shoe horns because they don't work very well. This keeps it simple and gets the job done.

I decided to get this short 13 inch grapper for litter picking.I tried it today for the first time and it is very good. Picks up very small items off the ground.I know most people would go with a longer version but I think this shorter version is stronger, will pick up heavier items and hopefully last longer.

This product is perfect for what i need, it is just the right height for me to pick up anything i drop without needing to bend. The grip is comfortable and the trigger easy. The only issue I have is with packaging, the grabber came in a massive box and i had to search through the paper in the box to find it. For something like this it was serious overkill on the box size and i would recommend Amazon look into improving this in the future. Other than the packaging, the grabber is 5 star.

I already had a couple of these for quite a number of years in the medium length. Then I saw these so I ordered 2 x XL versions which are worth their weight in gold. Really well made. The plastic is industrial grade, the tubing is aluminium and the mechanism is brass so no corrosion. Don't get those other type, get these, you will not be disappointed.

As a power chair user a grabber is an essential accessory. This is easily the best and most robust I've used. The smallest length one is a manageable size to carry around but still provides enough reach to necessitate its usage at least three or four times daily.True I have a pretty strong grip which you need to grab anything heavier than a piece of toast landed jam side down but the pistol grip extends through the top which provides additional leverage if you need it.

This is a fantastic grabber I'm so happy that I bought it! It appeared longer than I expected but that's not a problem in fact its better. There is only one magnet on one of the arms and I thought there should have been two but after consulting the company they have said that in fact there should only be one. It is a fairly strong magnet and would definitely pick up things like needles. The grabber is strong and I have picked up all sorts of things from paper to jumpers! The clip to attach to walking sticks etc isn't very good as it holds onto the stick ok, but the grabber slides through with movement. It wasn't stated but the jaws can also be locked together when not in use, by gripping the 'jaws' together and gently pulling them down.I am so pleased with it that I would definitely recommend this grabber, it is worth every penny!!!
