Among the best...
I was reluctant to try this after using Chemtronics for many, many year's, but the price hot so ridiculous it forced me to look elsewhere and I haven't regretted it for a second. I can only tell ya from my experience, but this stuff works every bit as good and I actually think a bit better than Chemtronics, give it a try and I believe you will not be disappointed.

Works perfectly for desoldering multilevel circuit boards
Needed a solution to effectly remove nixie tubes from a multilevel circuit board. It works perfectly. No board damage, no damage to tubes, no component damage. Really removes solder very effectly and quickly when heating the tape and pressing it against the solder. Make sure to heat at least 5 mm of the tape to absorb the solder. Keep cutting the tape for each next desoldering point. The manufacturer provides instructional videos, but it comes down to prepare a clean tape and properly heat.

Wow! Much better than the cheap stuff
This is the solder wick you want! The cheap wick can work (but poorly) when extra flux is added, but Super Wick is ready to go and far better. Just heat it up and the solder is pulled into the wick.

Don't skimp on tools!
This is the first review I have ever written, that should give you some idea of just how good it is compared to what I was using before. I was using cheap no-name solder wick before, that was a large mistake. It worked good enough for tearing apart stuff for recycling, but even then was not a great experience. This is my VR controller, one that I now have to completely replace due to not using this Superwick. I burned some of the board, and damaged a port, trying to jam the old stuff onto the solder joints so it would pick anything up. I have purchased a used controller to replace this one, still was over $120, it's an expensive hobby. Now, the superwick. As boisterous as the name is, it really is rather accurate. The image attached showes the finshed solder that I did after I tried the superwick, using the broken board as a test. It absorbs the solder almost instantly, while cheap stuff from this very site won't even absorb any afte over 10 seconds of sitting on it.Moral of the story, do not cheap out on your tools, no matter how muchis thrown out or used dy by day, paying a bit more now will save you hundreds down the line. It would have saved me $120 if I just used it first.

Way better than regular copper braid
I've used this and another copper wick that did not have the fine white powder / flux and the difference is huge. This will be my go to braid in the future, I just wish it were easier to find a wider version of it.

this stuff is good
it’s treated, so it soaks well. OR you can go cheap and treat your own with rosin.

Best Desoldering Braid ( solder wick ) I have ever used.
This MG Chemicals - 443 Desoldering Braid #3 Fine Braid Super Wick with RMA Flux, 25' Length is the best I have ever used. You can get cheaper per foot than this, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for, and that is what you get in this. I wish I had discovered this sooner, would have saved a lot of burnt parts and traces trying to get the ( other cheaper braid ) to remove solder. This is only my opinion.

How this works so much better than cheap chinesecrap is a mystery. But it DOES work way better!
Don't bother with buying the cheapest solder-wick you can find; it likely wont work and it better off being repurposed as grounding strap material :-DGet this one:MG Chemicals 443 Desoldering Braid #3 SuperWick with RMA FluxIt works magnificently compared to the cheap crap that is shipped with most cheapcrap soldering irons :-)... Though I have had great luck with cheapcrap soldering irons :-DSave your sanity and just buy the good stuff. This stuff.
