My parents love this product. The sponge head holds a ton of soap. The multiple positions make it easy to reach anywhere and everywhere. The handle grip keeps it from slipping. Buying one for myself.

Over the years, I have tried several applicators. I found all of them to be rather flimsy and to do only a so-so job. This one is different. It works wonderfully; exactly as it supposed to. I have found it to be equally useful for bathing and for lotion application. I didn’t give the product a five star rating because I found the lotion applicator to be a little hard and uncomfortable to use. I use the sponge applicator for both bathing and lotion application, and it works excellently for both. I highly recommend this product. It is easy to use and it is quite. sturdy and fits in the hand well. I bought the original applicator from another vendor and was delighted to see that it is now available on Amazon. I have just re-ordered the sponge applicator heads for this. The first set of heads lasted for well over a year. This applicator is well worth the money spent!

I tried to order the sponge replacement head THREE SEPARATE TIMES, I even had an Amazon representative order it the last time to try to get the correct replacement head, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I received the wrong replacement head!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!! They continue to send me the hard as a rock white replacement pad that is for lotion, and that one is totally useless, it is so hard that you put the lotion on there, and try to apply it to your skin, and it does nothing except waste your body lotion. The sponge works wonderfully, for cleaning yourself and also for applying lotion, but for some reason, they will not send me the sponge replacement pad, even though that is what I ordered all three times! And the reason that you have to order the replacement sponge is because it does not last long, it is a very poor quality sponge. It’s really sad too, because I really like the concept of what this product offers, a nice long handle to be able to reach your feet, and your back, and whatever else is needed. So the only thing I can think of is to purchase a quality sponge myself, and try to find a way to superglue it to this product, or attach it in some other way. So buyer beware, be very careful buying this product, because you will not be able to get the correct replacement head if you are trying to order the sponge pad. Very frustrating, I will definitely not purchase this item again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. And in all fairness to this company, this may actually be the fault of Amazon if they are the ones that are providing this product, instead of the actual Juvo company.

easy way to apply lotion

We got one of these as a gift (for elderly user). We loved it so much we sent one to our other relative (94 year old) who is using it and loving it.

I used this item to help me bathe/apply lotion following a hip replacement. The head of the device is paddle-shaped and can accommodate a sponge head or lotion applicator head (refills for both can be purchased separately, but I was sent the wrong ones - such is life). The sponge head was excellent for showering; not much in the way of exfoliating, but useful for at least soaping up everything without going against my hip precautions. The handle is somewhat modifiable and if fully extended is pretty long (I am long legged & would love for it & all ADL tools to be taller); if left at an angle, it can even access one’s back without twisting. The lotion applicator aspect was dismal: it has the consistency of an even more dense magic eraser scrubber and just seems to slap the lotion on thinly and unevenly. The lotion head didn’t seem like it was absorbing the lotion, so I cannot explain why the application came off so poorly. This tool may work out fine for most people following surgery as there is plenty to commend about it, but for those us who really need lotion, look for a tool that looks essentially like a long-handled thin paint roller.

I don't believe this was an applicator of a cream/lotion as much as I thought this was more of like an absorbent sponge for soap in the shower. I didn't even test it out. As soon I saw and felt the head, I knew what it was for. The replaceability and foldability was alright. The lotion replacement applicator pad was too firm. Too big of a build for me also. This may be of use to other people, but not me.
