Slightly Small for Carrier Infinity Air Cleaner
I have a Bryan/Carrier, high-efficiency air cleaner, the Infinity Model. The users manual calls for a 20 x 25 air filter. The baseline OEM Filter is a MERV 14 air filter. These replacement filters are 20 x 25 with lower MERV. They are very loose fit in the Infinity air cleaner so there could be a little bit of leakage around the filter. I was getting Air Flow warning using the MERV 14 OEM filters. Switched to these and the error went away. These filters are thinner than the OEM Carrier filter.

Great alternative to name-brand
I’ll put the short version first: it’s a great filter. It’s even better when you account for the money you save over the name brand filter. Buy this over the Carrier/Bryant filter.I found this while looking for a cheaper alternative to the name-brand filter for my Bryant Furnace filter (Carrier/Bryant GAPCCCAR1625-16 X 25). Because this filter is for an Evolution Air Purifier (and not just a straight air filter) I was hesitant to buy anything other than the name-brand Carrier/Bryant filter. The manufacturer says to change the unit filter every12 months, but it’s pretty clear every 6 months is more accurate.Anyway, once I started changing the filter every 6 months, the cost of the Bryant filter (around $100 now), just got to be too much. Especially when I look back and see the filters have been going up in price $5-$10 every year for the past 3-4 years (from my records, anyway). So in my searching, I found a lot of people saying this was a great cheaper alternative for the Carrier/Bryant filter. I finally decided to try it and was expecting it to be cheap quality at best, and complete trash at worst. But, I was happily surprised when I got the filter, it looked to be good quality and even had the metal tape that the original filter had (I believe it has to do with the Air Purifier part of the system). After installing it and letting it run for a few days, it’s doing great. No odd smells (which I had with multiple Carrier/Bryant filters. I’m planning on buying a couple to have on hand so I can swap them out every 6 months (or sooner if my 3 cats and 1 dog decide to shed a bunch).Great money-saving replacement for the name-brand filter.

Looks just like the original Bryant/Carrier filter
We have been ordering the Bryant/Carrier branded GAPCCCAR2025 filter for years. Price for those has gotten way out of hand, so I thought I would try this as a replacement for literally half the cost. I just installed it this week, so I won’t know how well it works for at least a few months. However, what I can say is that, minus all the printed text on the outer casing, this replacement looks the exact same, and feels the same weight as the original. It looks like there are the same number of pleats as well. It also fit perfect just like the original. I hope this works out, we’ll see in the coming months.UPDATE 05/25/2024: I can’t see any reason to buy the more expensive Bryant/Carrier branded filter again. Honestly, I can’t find any meaningful difference between these compatible replacements and the original.

Incorrect size
This product is advertised as being a replacement for the GAPCCCAR2025 filter used in the Carrier 20x25 air purifier unit. However, it does NOT fit in the Carrier unit. A total waste of time. Do NOT buy this if you have a carrier unit requiring a 20x25x3 filter

Just Like OEM for Half Price : Well Maybe Not
Original:I was skeptical at first when I ordered this replacement filter since its was half the price of the OEM filter. Fortunately, I had an OEM new filter to compare. In the photos, the one on the right is the OEM and left is the Filter-Monster replacement. They appear identical. I even counted the number of pleats and it is the same. Unless there is something that I am missing, I definitely recommend getting this Filter-Monster replacement and saving a lot of money.Updated: I just replaced the filter after 6 months and it appears to be coming apart. See photos. That never happened with the OEM filters. That makes me question how effectively they actually filter the air. I contacted customer support. They had no explanation as to what happened and said since it was past the original 30 day return policy, there is nothing they could do. Guess I will pay theextra for OEM filters next time.

Perfect Filter
I bought 2 of these (one is spare) to fit into my Bryant Model GAPAAXBB1625 Air Purifier (it has a filter section and an electrostatic section). The filter fits perfectly and it seems to solve another problem I had which was a buzzing noise from the electrostatic section.A notable difference in this filter over the very cheap ones (and with a much lower MERV) is that this filter has metal foil tape in strategic places on the frame (on the furnace side) these are much like the original and very expensive Bryant/Carrier/Honeywell filters. I noticed that the cheaper filters without the foil tape would have small burn holes in a few spots over time and think the electrostatic charge would leak across to the furnace metal frame which is the likely the cause of the burning and the electrostatic noise.Other reviews said there were no arrows on the filter that indicated the furnace side. That is incorrect as mine has the proper arrows.Solved 2 problems with a very good MERV15 and much cheaper filter. Kudo's to the filter-monster folks in getting this right!

Nothing Compromised and Saved $$$
This filter is compatible and works just like the more expensive Cartier Branded Filter. Very satisfied and will be stocking up with a couple more as it can be difficult trying to source this at last minute. I find the Seller is very caring and therefore repeating my business/purchases. This filter appears to be working just like the OEM as far as I can tell as the little blue light comes on when the system is running.

Before I ordered it I searched to make sure that it would be compatible with my current filter. It says it is but it isn't
