It will take time to get full results. As everyone suggests, wet your toothbrush and then dip it in the charcoal. This is the easiest way to get it on your toothbrush without making a mess. Where this product really is outstanding is changing your mouth chemistry so that cavities, bad breath and bleeding gums are reduced. I had bleeding gum issues but after a couple of days of using this product my bleeding gums went away. The sight of your blackened teeth while brushing may take getting used to for some people. The taste is pleasant and feels slightly chalky to me. It is a very fine charcoal.
