LOOK NO FURTHER!
This strap is WELL worth the price. The quality of it alone just amazes me. If you’re looking for a shoulder strap then don’t hesitate and get this one! There are a few notes I have for people that may be iffy. The strings that attach to your camera mounts/holes are thick. If your camera has small holes then you’ll need to add a keyring. Not a big deal.Another thing is that it is a pretty short strap. I’m 5’8” and the strap is sitting right above my hip bone when fully extended. Also, the non-slip on the shoulder pad works really well. I like that it gives me confidence that it won’t swing around but it also makes it a little difficult if you are trying swing your camera up to take a shot. If the strap was a little longer, this probably wouldn’t be a problem but given it’s length, you’ll have to adjust your shoulder pad to bring the camera up to your eye.

Comfortable AND sturdy strap. Quick release is great.
I've been using Op/Tech straps for a while, and I've been very happy with them. Just bought a second one of these for my other camera body. Love the quick release buckles; makes it easy to take the strap off if you're using a tripod or just want it out of the way.One thing to note: the strap as-is was a little short for me (I'm 6'0"), so I got the Op/Tech extenders to give me extra length and it fits great now. Really depends on how high you want your camera to ride.

Great product!
Yet another great product from OP/TECH. I have several of their filter packs and I love their lens hoods. This is the second camera strap I have from OP/TECH and while both are great, I like this one the best. Both straps are essentially the same. My first OP/TECH camera strap has the disconnect clips next to the shoulder pad, where this strap has the disconnect clips about 3" from the body mounts. The original strap worked great until I bought a new Sony a99MK2, removed the strap from my original DSLR and installed it on the a99ii, intending to purchase a replacement from OP/TECH for my original body.Up front I should have been thinking of this. My original DSLR very rarely saw a tripod, but my new a99ii spends most of its life on a tripod outdoors. It doesn't take much wind to get those straps flopping around all over, causing noticeable image degradation. Yes, you can tie them up with rubber bands, twisties or whatever but that is a pain in the rear end when the camera is on and off the tripod every few minutes. So, the old strap quickly went back on the original body where I should have left it. :)A quick browse of OP/TECH's products quickly turned up the 'Super Classic Strap'. Excellent quality just like my original strap and without the 12-14" of strap still attached to the camera when the shoulder pad is removed. Strong wind still tends to blow the 'stubs' around but not nearly as bad as the much longer ones. So far I can't seen any image degradation in my images so I'm very happy.Another nice thing about this strap vs my older one is that when the camera is on a tripod and the strap is disconnected, the ends don't have a tendency to snag on ever stick, week or branch within 20 yards. :)The shoulder pad section - like my original - is very comfortable. A a99MK2 DSLT or a900 DSLR with a Zeiss 16-35 or 24-70 is maybe a bit much (especially with a grip and two batteries) for this strap. I think OP/TECH intended this strap for something just a tad smaller and lighter. However, I've been using my original strap for years and have never had a complaint. The shoulder pad is very soft and comfortable even considering its relatively narrow width and I've never seen the need for something more. The compactness of the strap also means its light and takes up little room in a bag/backpack. Very important when weight or space (or both) are at a premium.

Decent, But short
The strap is good quality. Nothing wrong with the build. It is just much shorter than I thought it would be. Makes the camera ride up higher when it is dangling.

Its a good strap and despite what others say it will fit a Canon R body (or DSLR)
I've used these straps for years and never had a problem with QD or attachment loop failure. I have used it on a Canon 5D M3 and now a Canon R6 (see the photo). The strap QD loops are thick and a very tight fit to install, but it is possible to get them attached without any tools. Just flatten the loop real tight and push it through. Don't use a paper clip or other metal tool to push it through like some others who scratched up their cameras.

Uni-Loop versus Pro Loop versus Super Pro Differences
The difference between the OP/TECH Super Classic Strap Pro Loop, and the OP/TECH USA 1001062 Super Classic Strap-Uni Loop for cameras and binoculars is very straightforward once you buy both, as I did: the Pro loop has two connectors right at the sides of the neoprene shoulder (or neck, depending on what you call it) pad, and the Uni Loop does not. This is presumably so a Pro can use the former strap to remove the neo shoulder strap to use with other OP/Tech accessories. The threading loops that go into the camera/binocular strap metal arches, and the clips near those threading loops, and the adjustable side black nylon straps, and even the neoprene shoulder pad, are identical in these two models. So, one must decide if they want to pay five dollars more (price may vary with time) for the two uppermost plastic buckles--the ones at each of of the neoprene shoulder pad--or if they will never use them or need them. I'm in the latter group.Note: the Super Pro model features everything the same as the Pro Loop, but has a wider neoprene shoulder pad that is cut in a slight arc, or curve, to go around the neck profile. Also, the Super Pro model comes in colors for the neoprene (but, as any camera maven knows, only black will not show dirt). For me, it's unnecessary to have such a wide pad, even when I am carrying, say, my 4 pound 4 ounce 15x56mm binoculars; I prefer the thinner and non-curved shoulder pad of the Classic versions. Your preferences may vary. I found these straps very confusing, even when watching the Op Tech official videos, until I bought one of each for myself. Hope you can buy the one that would serve you best. :-)

Great Straps for Cameras - or in this case Binoculars
I already have another Op/Tech strap, the Super Classic Uni-Loop, which I use on a pro DSLR. On the other DSLR's I use Op/Tech wrist straps, which link in with the same clips as the Uni-Loops.So, when I needed a strap for a new pair of binoculars, the choice was fairly simple. This time I went for the Pro-Loop strap. Mainly because the Uni-Loop version isn't easily available in the UK. I spoke to customer services at Op/Tech and apparently, it's a USA only item, the Uni-Loop. So I just happened to get lucky when I bought them, that someone in the UK was selling them. I think it can be ordered in if requested by a couple of distributors if needs be.The Pro Loop is different to the Uni-Loop, because the two ends that stay on the camera are about 9 inches long. On the Uni-Loop the ends are approx. 2 inches long (or less). On a camera, if I remove the strap, then the Uni-Loop is great, because there's hardly anything left to dangle around and get in the way. I decided that for the Binoculars, this didn't matter so much. Plus, there's a trick that you can do with the Pro-Loops, where you remove the strap, but connect the two tails together. This creates a mini strap. Which is how I intend to leave them for most of the time. Because, normally the binoculars are just lying around the house, for looking at birds and deer outside the window, so they are not travelling anywhere. Therefore the big strap is unnecessary. However, it's easily clipped into place if needs be, for going out walking. One point to note if mixing the two systems, is that the actual padded strap part on the Pro-Loop strap, is much shorter than on the Uni-Loop version. You can buy a set of Op/Tech Uni-Loop extension straps to compensate for this. These contain a pair of Uni-Loop connectors, and two 8 inch connector straps, which all connect using the same clip in connectors for speedy connection. All in all a superb system of straps. Very comfortable to wear. They feel very strong, the neoprene padded shoulder pad is nicely padded without being too fancy. It's non-slip is perfect. I'd highly recommend them as a strap for a DSLR or a pair of binoculars.

Comfortable and practical.
I bought this to replace a previous Optech strap I had purchased in the USA about 8 years ago. It wasn't a perfect replacement because the original had extra lugs so that you could hook on another camera or a pair of binoculars which was ideal for me, and I couldn't find another like it. However with a bit of ingenuity you can attach large metal circles as used for key-rings and then attach your binoculars to those so I got the same functionality in the end. The old strap was made with thin fabric covering the foam neck protector, and after much use and, regrettably, sweating all over it in hot countries, it was fraying and coming unstuck at the edges. The worst thing was that it would leave black marks all over my shirt collar, I don't know if that was dye coming out or just dirt from my skin, though I suspect the former as it was hard to wash off.The new one has just survived a trip to SE Asia, across the Equator and back, with a heavy Canon EOS40D and a mighty lens attached and I never felt uncomfortable. That said, I would have appreciated the extra loops for the binoculars as in my earlier strap which was no more expensive, so that's why this gets 4 out of 5 stars.

Easily the Best DSLR Strap - Sets the Industry Standard!
I purchased this to, like many others, replace the standard manufacturers strap that came with my camera - a Canon 6D. The manufacturers strap is uncomfortable and often rubs against my neck making it very sore at the end of the day.The Optech strap is very very high quality and discrete - finally I am not a walking advert for my camera manufacturer! At first I was worried that the quick connectors would disconnect but they are rigid and will only disconnect if you squeeze them well. From looking at Amazon's photos, you can't see how thick or well built the strap is which is a shame. The padding is very comfortable and nearly 1cm thick and it does stretch a little to spread the weight of my camera well, whilst the non-slip finish does its job well.I'd recommend buyers to pick up the Pro Loop version because, in my opinion, it is much easier to fit or remove the strap to the camera (or binoculars) than messing around pushing a strap through tight lugs and having to resize a normal strap each time. The only negatives to this strap is that the loops can be a little tricky to put on at first, this is because the loops are very strong and rigid, my advice would be to use a not sharp pointy item to help push the loop through your camera strap lugs. The Optech Super Classic Pro Loop strap has set the industry standard for camera straps in my opinion.

Improvement over basic strap
The Super Classic Strap with Uni Loops is a great improvement over the standard one supplied with the camera. It is very comfortable. When the camera is used on a tripod the main part of the strap can easily be disconnected to stop it getting in the way or flapping about, or you can easily change to using the wrist strap. The price is very reasonable.Only four stars as the first one that I received had two female uni loops and two male ends on the main strap making it incompatible with other bits of the system. I'm guessing that the main part of the strap was made incorrectly, Optech realised this and then paired it with two identical uni loops to make the whole strap work - two wrongs making a right!Returning the faulty one and receiving a correct version was fairly painless just a bit inconvenient.

Much needed improvement over "standard" strap
I've been lugging cameras around for almost 40 years now, and over the last 5 years especially I have had a particularly heavy combination of Canon 7D + 70-300mm L lens - that's over 2kg. I always use the strap in a slingshot way rather than just dangling from one shoulder - and basically on a day out it's quite tiring. And the standard issued strap makes you a walking advert (although personally I've not actually been a target of crime during that time)So, when upgrading recently to a 7D2, I'd seen a recommendation for this strap, so got one to use from Day One.I can't believe what a difference it makes! I'm less fatigued, it doesn't slip as much, takes up less room in the camera bag, and can be grabbed into the hand comfortably, and also it's long enough for me to continue using it in a slingshot way. Oh, and it isn't garish like the supplied ones.I'm not really using the convertible nature of it, but have found it useful to remove the central part when the camera's on a tripod, just to reduce the amount of strap that's dangling. Not 5 stars? This is really picky, but the "clackiness" of the click-together components of the strap are noticeably noisy for me, but I know I tend to get annoyed by this sort of thing much more than "normal" people ;)
