This unit fit perfectly in our 20 year old refrigerator. It was easy to install. We watch YouTube videos and followed directions. It works perfectly. The old unit was spilling excess water into the ice tray. This replacement cured that issue. I worked with the fellow who invented this type of automatic ice maker. Thanks Gary.

Purchased this replacement ice maker for an Amana fridge. Shipped quickly universal fit so there was no problem installing it. You do need your existing wire harness but very easy to set up. Just make sure the wire arm is adjusted properly. Unit worked perfectly. Turned out it was my water valve. Replaced that and kept the ice maker I purchased here. And works great.

Materials are lesser quality than the original but it works great and was very affordable. Was easy to install and was making ice once it got cold enough 4 hours later.

Alas, our old 1999 Maytag refrigerator had a hiccup, and the ice maker quit working properly. After searching for a replacement, I went to a local big box store and bought what I thought was a correct replacement. However, once out of the shipping box I discovered that the new one had a 5 pin cable, whereas mine had a 4 pin one. It got returned to the store, and searching began once more. I found one listed at Supplying Demand that had the replacement model number I was looking for. When it arrived, the first thing I checked was the cable, and it was the needed 4 pin one. It's now installed and happily making ice. There was only one minor issue, that being the bottom bracket for mounting and leveling. I had to use the old bracket, but it worked just fine.

Easy installation and working good.

I purchased the ice maker in October 2020. It was very easy to install, an worked well for a couple of months. In January 2021 it just quit working. I went on amazon to get warranty information. I was sent to what appeared to be the manufacturer website. I was unable to figure out if there was a warrant or if one was in place. I would have preferred to get a replacement, but couldn't figure out how to get that information. I purchased an ice maker from another manufacturer. I will probably not purchase from you again. You make it too difficult to get warrant service. An ice maker should last well over 3 months. The new ice maker works great and its warrant was clearly spelled out. My rating would have been very different if I could have gotten warranty information. Even it had turned out there was no warranty. At least I would have had the information I needed.

This fit in my Maytag bottom-freezer. Was so happy to find a replacement for this price. Installation was a bit painful because you can't remove the drawer from the freezer compartment so you have to contort your body and feel around for the screw closest to the front.I was struggling to hold the unit in place while trying to align the mounting screws until I noticed that the mounting brackets were cleverly designed so that you could partially screw in the mounting screws without the unit BEFORE dropping the unit in place. After that discovery, installation was a breeze. Wish I had noticed that before all the struggling and swearing.As others mentioned, I needed to reuse the wiring and shut-off bar (new one is too short) from my old unit. I also had to reuse the plastic bracket that holds the water inlet tube in place. It kinda looks like a funnel that clips onto the ice maker. At first I was afraid that this bracket wouldn't fit but it fit perfectly on this new ice maker. Again, as others mentioned, I had to cut out the water inlet, which was pre-scored. Also, I couldn't use the plastic bracket that goes on the bottom of the ice maker. It did not fit properly so I reused the old bracket.As for performance, this ice-maker is slower at producing ice. But it seems to produce slightly bigger ice "cubes" so that may be the reason why.Overall, I am really happy with the unit.

Very pleased with this ice maker.I've had in for about 3 weeks now and it works great. Makes beautiful ice cubes! Keeps the tray consistently filled up.It was very easy to install and for the price, no complaints.

Was everything that we expected. Instalment was very easy.

Works as expected. A little tricky to install but doable for most DIYers.

1/3 the price of the OEM unit. Now broken. Worked very slowly for a month, then flakes in the ice from the coating, now doesn’t work. The installation was relatively easy so the replacement won’t take long. Avoid
