If you have an old glider or bench that the webbing has work out this it the material you are looking for. It is exactly the same material as the stuff that was on my old one that is over 10 years old. Not the same color but works. You will have to cut it to length and do a little sewing but when you are done it will just like the original. Good material and ideal for those with some basic craft skills.

This fabric is "standard" or "medium" weight fabric. I would not get this weight for a sling chair again. It is doing the job, but I doubt it will last long. The old fabric was much heavier. Another online retailer lists the uses for this fabric weight as "roller shades, heat-filtering structural awnings, RV and yacht window covers". This was in no way misrepresented by the seller, I just didn't do my homework. Five stars for the product.Minus one star for the shipping. Over ten bucks for the shipping seemed fair when I thought the fabric would be sent on a 54" roll. When I received it, It was folded up into an 8X10" plastic bag and had creases in it. The creases came out when I put it on the chair, but ten bucks for that kind of shipping seems excessive.

It looks more like window screening then a seat fabric. Pretty disappointed.

The quality of the mesh is wonderful, the size is perfect as well. The photo (only 1 picture) gives the appearance of a lighter contrasting thread, it is actually a solid VERY dark navy. My husband thought it was black.
