We just received this chair and put it together. While the chair seems very sturdy, the chair back when not reclining sits too far back. It is uncomfortable and needs to sit a little straighter. I tried looking for a lever or release to make the seat back sit up more when not in a reclining position, but have found nothing. The chair itself reclines very easily and the mechanism works smoothly. Instructions to assemble the chair were pretty bad. Pictures were poor and explanations were sketchy. Plus there is no manufacture or contact information so you can call and get answers to questions. I am hoping that this review will reach the manufacturer and that they will communicate with us so we can resolve the problem. I will update my review at that time. Otherwise, the chair and cushions are quite comfortable, as long as you like a permanent recline. Update: After searching the Amazon page for this chair, I found a contact for the seller and contacted them about my issue. Customer service was very quick to respond to my issue and told me that I had installed the backrest backwards. The included Instructions were not clear as to which direction to install. I had a 50-50 chance and lost. I reinstalled the backrest and the chair sits perfectly now. Instructions need to be a little clearer, but we managed to get the job done. Actually the instructions on the Amazon site have much better pictures, so if you are purchasing this chair, and I suggest that you do, use those instructions instead of the ones that come with the chair.

I really like these recliners. We just assembled them and began to use them so I’ll update the review as time goes on. 1. Install was easy..... kind of. I didn’t receive page 2 of the instructions, and their YouTube videos were less than helpful. I spent about an hour figuring out how to assemble the back to the sides, but once I did, the rest was a breeze. That is the only improvement on installation that needs work. 2. They’re very nice and sturdy. We had a person sit in them all weekend at about 325lbs and they held up great 3. We’ve gotten a ton of positive compliments on them. We love the look. The cushions are very thick and very comfortable. The reclining mechanism is very smooth operations. Overall we’re very happy with them and have enjoyed them immensely so far!

What a great chair, so comfy! BUT, as other reviews have stated the instructions SUCKED! I had no problems until I had to screw sides onto chair. Picture wasn't any help! The key is to screw in middle one first on both sides, then do ends, then tighten all six screws.

It was a rough start with this purchase, but using the discussion here on Amazon and input from the manufacturer, I am currently happy with this chair. As others have reported, some of the screws do not go in easily as others. There seems to have been a machine-made issue when cutting the threads in the holes. After input from a few commenters on my question here, I decided to go ahead and force the screws into their holes. After about a third of an inch, the screws began to turn more easily. After that relevation the assembly process went quickly and smoothly, despite the lousy directions. I am enjoying the chair With its three position seat-back and footrest. It took a little getting used to pushing back to make the foot rest rise, and the back recline. I now see what others were talking about, the chair is quite high, you cannot sit in an upright position with your feet on the ground and I am 5 foot 7 in. I absolutely love the depth that the back reclines, it goes further back than its competitors and makes for a nice napping position. The cushions are very comfortable, but beware the beige is basically white. Thanks to the other customers who replied to my inquiry.

Easy to assemble, relatively lightweight, and washable fabric. They are very comfortable, and easy to maintain. We cover them to keep the elements off them, and they appear very durable.

I purchased two of these recliners for our new lanai by our new in ground pool. Extremely comfortable and so far are nice and sturdy. It’s relatively easy to assemble. However, a few screws were difficult to screw in completely. I was afraid of stripPing the screws since I was using a cordless screwdriver, but I very patiently screwed the couple of problem screws by hand. I assembled them by myself, but a second pair of hands would have helped. Unfortunately my wife of 50 years aren’t a good team when it comes to this type of task. I viewed the assembly instructions on YouTube, very helpful. My wife now sits outside with me more often since the recliner is so comfortable

Was looking for sturdy recliners for our sundeck. Wanted something smaller then our lazy boy recliners we use in summer. These chairs were a little more expensive then the others we looked at - but I can see why! They are solid, comfortable, easy to push into recline position. Cushions are thick not cheap or thin. Armrests are comfortable and the foot rest has a sling /hammock in between for the pets to lay on instead of slipping through the space in between. These chairs can easily accommodate a larger person.

Very comfortable to sit in. A little short on leg support for my 6’2” frame but a good width and supportive cushion. Awkward to assemble as six bolts all require alignment.

I picked up two of these chairs as temporary living room furniture while I had some couches built. Product delays meant I had to use these for almost 4 months as primary loafing devices in my house until I moved them outside. Very sturdy and comfortable enough to sit in every day and relax.
