I bought this razor after a lot of comparison and reading reviews on Amazon. Mostly, I was intrigued by the design which is very different to a traditional straight razor with a hinge and tang. I suspect this razor is good for a barber in order to shave someone else but the design makes it very difficult to get a decent shave using it on yourself. I cut myself to ribbons every time I used this. I later bought a traditionally designed straight razor and the difference is immense. Comparing the two, apart from the design, it seems as if more blade is exposed with this particular model which makes it difficult to wield. Use with extreme caution but I would recommend a traditional design

Great product easy to use

I only wanted this to do my cheeks as I have a beard. I have to scrape so much...it creates a lot of soreness. I`ve gone back to using my Harrys razors.
