iCarsoft CR Plus NEW VERSION professional universal OBD2 diagnostic scanner for multi brand vehicles

I originally bought the MB II for my E320. However, I returned it and bought this one since I also have an e46 BMW and 2 American Cars. This does everything that the MB II does, plus I'm supposed to be able to use on the BMW and the American cars also. Haven't tried it on those yet, but for an MB e320 w211, it works very well and in depth - especially to deactivate and re-active the SBC brake system. Great investment if you DIY on an MB, cause they can be a pain.

Couldn’t even get chance to see it works. Returns the first one I purchased , thought may be something wrong with it, but second one is same problem am experiencing as picture shows.

I just got today 4/6/18 and i used it to reset abs light on 2004 gmc sierra 1500 and this amazing scanner showed me the exact location and cleared the light in one sec, and i used it at home on my 2016 panamera 3.6l and i cleared all services in no time. Porsche dealer in dallas telling me o have to bring the car to the service center to clear the service light.Get it if you deal with cars because this scanner has it all.

Ok so there is some ambiguity for this scanner. This will only scan the transmission abs ecu and srs and whatever was the other module. This is not the same as the manufacturer specific versions made by icarsoft which state that they will scan almost all modules. My issue with this scanner and the reason I ended up returning it is that it wouldn't connect to TWO DOMESTIC vehicles??? I mean it worked on a Volvo but not on a Dodge Ram....come onnnnnnnnnnnnn. That being said you can't expect 100% coverage for this price range. It actually connected and scanned and got me info very fast though which is a plus. I would only suggest this to a person who is doing this as a hobby at home. Professionals should stay away and invest in something slightly more pricey.

This scanner is a 7-10 to me. It's options for measurements are metric and imperial? I have never heard of imperial measurements but a standard option would be great. I scanned my GMC truck and my wife's Toyota car and couldn't get it to auto sense my truck. Had to go through the prompts for my truck and it had 5 different trucks and everyone was labeled in a way I couldn't distinguish. If the scanner did fine a DCT, it wouldn't tell me much information about the code. I had to back all the way out through the prompts I just went through to find my vehicle, remember the code and look the code up on the scanner to see the problem and no where on the scanner could I see any suggestions for possible fixes. It's not really a user friendly scanner. It's broke up in some areas and repeats itself in others. I just want all the info for each section I want to check just right on the screen. Instead, you have to go to that section, choose up to 3 subsections max at a time, wait for it to load and exit and go to your next 3 subsections. It does show misfires, individual cylinder compression, injector GPH, any temperature you could think of, etc. I can scan my transfer case but it just mainly tells me if it's engaging or not. If you are considering this scanner. Just go with one more vehicle specific that's cheap cause I've tried a bunch and this one ain't much different than the $30 $40 brands. Maybe this review helps.

I had forgotten to unplug the battery when changing out the seats in my 2022 Mercedes Sprinter van and caused some erroneous SRS (airbag) errors to constantly display. Using the CR Plus, I was able to reset the codes. Works well!

Great scan tool for the money. I have used this on the engine and airbag in my '07 Porsche Cayman and I have been very pleased. The iCarsoft scanner has an intuitive interface and I believe even a novice would have found it easy to use. It asks if you want to use auto or manual setup, however I don't see any difference between the two. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product!
