Same quality and size as the ones my parents had in the 70s. Have been spinning nonstoip for months.

These are made from very durable plastic and will surely last more than one season. They work best in higher winds, and spin nicely when it's windy. The only drawback for me is that whoever picked the 6 colors they sent me gave me a horridly bland selection of colors - navy blue, white, light purple and lime green...the other two were pink and deep pink. I would not have chosen navy and white without a red too....and well light purple and lime green needed a yellow or an orange with it to make colorful.-- I called the Beloit Plastics customer service number (608-313-8888) and told of my dilemma. This company is willing to please their customer and was going to open a ticket for return/replace. I asked if I could order specific colors and was told yes! That is my uncolorful problem solved with a new order for red, yellow, orange, light blue, viking purple and two-tone blue/green for the last one. Definitely call customer service. They will work with you.--Update: New colors arrived - The ones I ordered and an additional set at no charge. What a difference color makes! I placed them on the island in middle of the street to deter folks from stepping on/over our plants and flowers that we planted and maintain ourselves. NYC Parks Dept is supposed to maintain the eyesores, but they don't really and the weeds reach 4ft high at times (picture 3). Our island is kept nice, but folks have no respect and walk through them and step on the seedlings between the flowering bushes . Well, these spinners have been placed where the seedlings were planted and good luck trying to maneuver over them (picture 2)! They spin all day long and it's so nice to walk out the front door and see the splash of colors. They are showy and spinny and many people stop and comment how nice they look. I would order these again definitely.

Classic sunflower spinners, what a hoot! I bought two sets so there are 12 now scattered in my front yard. We have a lot of wind always in KCMO, since I "planted" them they have been spinning like crazy non-stop, the strong wind has not harmed them. These aren't esthetically beautiful but they sure are cute! My hope is that what I have heard is true, the vibrations of the posts in the ground will keep the moles and groundhogs away. The last two years we have had mole tunnels popping up all over our yard all spring and summer, a good way to break an ankle if you step on one and it collapses. Mole season is upon us, spinners have been twirling for two weeks, so far NO MOLE TRAILS...

I got the Classic Spinning Daisies because last year the birds got up earlier than I did and grabbed off the blueberries the instant they were ready to harvest. This year I have these colorful little pinwheels all around my 14 blueberry plants and I haven't seen a bird near them. I'm getting the blueberries this year!The Classic Spinning Daisy pinwheels are easy to assemble. You just plop the head on the stick and put it in the ground. Occasionally one of the heads will fall off, but they are easy to just put right back on. They spin well and are very bright and colorful. They are holding up well even though they've been out through ice, wind, and more than 100-degree temperatures, oh yes, plus rain and hail. They are tougher than they look. So far none have blown away, even though they aren't very heavy. I recommend these!EDITED to say that 2 years later, I'm getting the blueberries. The birds are staying away from these spinning daisies. They've been through high winds, hail, snow, extreme heat, rain, etc. Most are standing up to all that. A few are bent. I think I'll order a new batch.

I like the colors and the size. The metal posts are round and turn in the ground with the wind so the flowers are changing the direction they’re facing, which I wish they didn’t. Also the way the metal post is attached to the flower wobbles so they make a rattle noise that I don’t like. Overall there nice enough.

Purchased to chase away the moles. I was always running over the mole traps. These are much prettier too.
