Mega Man Tribute (Hardcover) (Capcom Tribute Artbook)

Bought this for my 13 year old son for Christmas and it was an immediate hit! Once he opened it, he looked through the entire book before opening any other gift. And now he is going back through it again, this time more slowly ;-). There are images that he loves and some he's not so crazy about, but he is getting the biggest thrill telling me what he thinks about them all. While not everyone would appreciate the various artists' take on their favorite Megaman character, most fans will enjoy this book for what it is...seeing the classic video game hero through another fan's eyes. Pretty spectacular.My son likes the manga and classic images like the 1st two pics below. He laughs at "distorted" images like the 3rd pic.

The art they picked out is all over the spectrum and gives so much variety that flipping through never gets boring. If you're looking for a gorgeous video game art book that showcases the work of artists and animators from all over the globe and doesn't limit itself to a single art style, I highly recommend UDON's Mega Man Tribute
