Are the bro 2 better than the elac b5.2 or b6.2, are they worth the extra money?

Yes. Way more complete tuning (no frequencies are dominant or lacking) and better sound stage while still maintaining excellent imaging. More refined, but not boring. I got these on sale over a month ago and just set them up yesterday, I'm blown away. Pretty easy to drive to the point of too loud (while still not distorting). Better than my elac b5.2, b6.2, unifi ub52, as well as my kef 100 and 150s, and many others. Actually the closest thing to it under $500 are my c-notes mt from parts express that I put together myself.

The two look different - is this a subwoofer and one speaker? So not full stereo + a subwoofer (which i'd expect to be 3-pieces)

Bro 3 has a bigger midwoofer @ 6 inches but the ports are in front compared to BRo2 wich has a 5 inch midwoofer and a port in the back. Both use the same 1 inch silk dome tweeter
