The Kosher Cook Novelty Cake Pan, Star of David, Non Stick, 1-Piece

I debated ... whether I was keeping this or giving it as a Passover gift. I ended up keeping it, and I wish I had given it as a gift. It's HUGE and would probably require a double cake batter to fill. I made an (almost) inedible Passover cake in it and the detail was great when I flipped it, but I live alone and doubt I'll be using it much in the future. Also, because I knew the cake would be somewhat dry, I poured a chocolate ganache over it, which hid all the great detail of the cake (but was the only truly edible part of the cake). I also purchased this because of an article I read in the New York Times about doing Pesach in France, another example of how dangerous reading can be!

Okay, this is a sturdy pan. Very nice. However, the GLUE that they have attached the insert with is AWEFUL! We tried everything to get the glue off...and I do mean EVERYTHING, to no avail. I have about an dime's worth of glue left to pry off of the pan and am hoping beyond hope that it will not ruin the pan. CHANGE THE GLUE PEOPLE!!!! It is NOT necessary to keep that piece of paper on the pan.

I bought this to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with friends. He was on his was to Israel and he is Jewish so it seemed fitting.This cake mold was wonderful. It's probably can hold twice as much as your usual circular 9 inch cake mold. So be prepared for that.It has AWESOME designs on the top that make it fun to decorate.

it's not much for molding icecream but is great for other tasks. It's affordable and large enough for cakes and triple/quadruple batches of jello.

I bought this item thinking it was going to be about the size of a bunt cake pan with two, as a double layer cake. They are huge. I can't fit them in my glass cake container which makes them useless. I will never use them. For what. Hope this review helps. Everyone's wants and needs are different. I have no problems with the seller though, at all. ; )

Was disappointed that this is the old type of toxic not stick surface. But there aren't too many choice for us out there.

This is a great pan to use for making something special to bring to my congregation on the Sabbath. I made a chocolate birthday cake and everyone loved the star of David shape!

well made pan which should bring many years of tasty cake baking for our granddaughter.
