Good set for baking. These don't leave the horrible bitter taste that some food dyes leave and makes good colours depending on how much you use.

Done the job but I did have to use the entire tubes to get a good colour for a rainbow birthday cake

This is a good range of gel colours and I am happy to see that there’s no tartrazine or any other nasty in them so I can use them to colour foods for the grandchildren. They are also free from gluten and dairy which means that I can eat the coloured foods too. My only tiny quibble is that the colour is not very intense so you need quite a lot, like with liquid food colours (though without the mess of liquid colours). I suppose that’s the price of avoiding the nasty stuff.

There is no chance to recommend this gel colour... I bought it as highly rated, popular and good brand. What a disappointment - all individual packs had different expiry date, I had to squeeze not a drops but half tube to get the yellow colour seen! Same with the orange, even the red was so week no matter how much gel I was adding... Ended up making new batch of dough and using different dye as those don't do the colouring what so ever! I regret not taking a video of this lack of effectiveness of this product but I don't have any time to waste as well as the money already paid for this useless colour gel...

Really runny, hard for kids to use. Threw away box before checking use by date but wish I hadn't as pretty sure these were close to it 😏
