I'm glad that it shipped too quickly for me to cancel, because I am happy with this purchase. Upon arrival, there was no indication on the box of any fluid leak and the paint on the jack was not chipped or scratched. The jack appeared absolutely new, in good condition, with a look and feel of good quality. While I haven't used it under my car, the jack functions normally, to a 14.5 inch maximum height. My guess was that the review about raising only half the jack's rated weight was caused by a lot of air in the system. After going through procedures to bleed air from this one, there was no air pressure released when I pulled the plug. I topped it up with Bar's Stop Leak, which really was not necessary because it did not take much at all. This tool was ready to work when it arrived, and it is what I need.
