Kelco 50:1 Plum White Shampoo, 5 gal

This is concentrated stuff. The value for money is definitely there. The scent is nice. I will take forever to use it, as I don’t bath my cats that often. But I should. One of my person kittens is forever yellow with her messy eating. This shampoo helped. I bet if I bathed her more regularly, her mane wouldn’t be yellow.

I’m a professional groomer I highly recommend this product for white dogs! It’s amazing! This is my second time buying a bottle and will forever use this for the rest of my grooming career!! And it smells absolutely amazing !!!

I have a wonderful, happy, WHITE Samoyed - and we like to keep her that way! She loves to hike and run around, so sometimes her coat fades a little. One bath with this and she is shining white again! Also keeps her fur soft and fluffy. No irritation whatsoever, no itchiness, and no eye irritation (although obviously we try our best to avoid her eyes/crevices). Keep in mind that it will not work miracles - for example, if any part of her is "saliva stained" (slightly red/dark), it WILL improve the situation but not completely fix the situation, and you do tend to need to use more than the label states. Overall, great shampoo for white dogs that need "brightening" - you just may need to use more than the product states.

I use this shampoo as one of the several steps to prepare my exotic shorthair cats for the shows. It works really well and I love the fragrance ! I use it on the white or light color cats and definitely brightens up the color. I prefer full strength and no dilution. It leaves the hair soft and if you follow instructions by leaving it on the coat for few minutes, it will also remove or lighten some of the stains on a white or light color cat.

I am disappointed with this product. I have a white toy poodle whom doesn't have really bad discoloration but does get dingy in between baths (average every 4-6 weeks). I washed him with his normal shampoo for skin allergies (vet prescribed) and followed with the Plum White to brighten his coat. I applied undiluted for 5 to 7 minutes working and lathering the entire time (my usual routine). The final results after his blow out was he still looked dingy, and he didn't have a clean smell for very long afterwards. The product smells nice during use and worked average. For me personally I will resort back to my normal brand Perfect Coat White Pearl shampoo & conditioner.

This was recommended to me by a friend. I was looking for a shampoo for my Samoyeds that would help keep their coats white without being too harsh. This definitely did just that! Their coats were soft, white, and glowing. I got TONS of compliments on how good my dogs looked. And, it smells wonderful -- no chemical smell like some others I've tried. It may seem a bit expensive at first, but you dilute it 50:1, so this bottle will actually make more than 4 gallons, which means it's going to last me a long time, so to me, it's well worth it. I will definitely be buying this again!

Great whitening shampoo, gentle with my bichon frise

Its really is a great shampoo, but there are others I like more. I am still trying to find that perfect whitening shampoo that has a smell I like with the cleaning power I desire. It cleans beautifully, it smells nice. I just felt my dog did not feel/smell clean as long as with other shampoos I have tried. I would buy it again though if I do not find another product that wows me.
