Good NATO, reasonably priced, quick delivery
Can't add a photo because obviously I am in a sniper hide on a secret mission with poor light.Which is why I needed a vintage NATO Bond strap for my 36mm solar powered Timex field watch. But seriously, the strap is great, arrived on time, I will definitely buy from these guys again, its a good brand, a very comfortable strap. I must have fat wrists - I never have any strap left over to tuck into the bars, even when I bought one from CWC.Still, great strap, arrived super quickly.

Good quality watch strap for decent price
Decent watch strap, feels secure on my wrist. My only gripe would be the strap is a bit short, I like to fold the excess strap underneath the buckle again for added security, however I have big wrists and this still fits comfortably. Don’t buy if you want it to go over the outside of a wetsuit or like to tuck the extra back under the buckle for added security. Having said that it is a quality strap and looks and feels good.

Good quality strap, material weight just right.
Overall, a good strap, but I have to drop a point as it's a bit short. I know this is optimised for next to skin wear, but realistically if you're trading on military heritage, then you need to be able to accommodate wearing over other layers. I bought this to wear over a wetsuit and there's not a lot of spare room like this. I don't have especially thick wrists, more like medium to slim male. However, the material is a good weight to keep form and support the watch and still be comfortable. I'm sure the vast majority of purchasers will be happy, but you may want to look elsewhere if you're of heavier construction and want to wear over something.

Great quality
This is my third Archer strap and first G10 style military strap. Beautiful colour and matches my Casio Duro perfectly. The strap is shorter than others I've had before, but fits my wrist perfectly. The build quality is 100% and as I've come to expect from Archer straps.

Archer Nato strap reveiw
As a watch collector I like to change the look of my pieces , having tried several brand of NATO straps Archer straps for me are the most comfortableThe material is not too soft but is resilient enough to keep it shape and very easy to keep clean, this is my personal preference; I have tried other brands such as sniper bay and binlin which are also great quality straps but on the day to day basis I find that I don’t have to continually adjust the strap on the Archer branded straps

Jack of all trades, master of none
Traditionally, NATO straps are quite long and will fit almost any size of wrist (the one that I have is at least an inch longer than this). They were designed this way so that they could be worn over, or under most form of battle dress without requiring adjustment. The conventional way of wearing a NATO strap would be to fold any excess material back through the 2nd keeper, which would generally be positioned up near the lugs of the watch in the 12 o'clock postion. Although the NATO "bump" can look odd, and creates an asymmetrical appearance, this tends to make for the most comfortable and versatile fit. However, many wearers of this style of strap are either unaware of, or do not wish to wear it in this way and the traditional strap is generally much too long to be worn in any other way: look on YouTube is likely to reveal far more videos demonstrating how to cut, or otherwise resize a NATO strap than videos demonstrating how the strap would conventionally be worn.A frequent complaint from those who do not wear the strap with the 12 o'clock bump is that the strap seems much too long.In their strap design, Archer seem to have attempted by accommodate all comers by making the strap much shorter than a typical strap of this sort might be (it seems to be at least an inch shorter than a traditional strap of this sort). However, this creates more problems that it solves as it doesn't satisfy fully the requirements either of those who want to wear the strap more like a standard strap or those who would expect to wear the strap as it would conventionally be worn (particularly if the latter group has larger wrists). My wrist is slightly slimmer than average, and I find that with, the 2nd keeper in the 12 o'clock position, the buckle on the watch is positioned almost at the side of my wrist. Although this is probably the most comfortable position, it is unusual for the buckle to be this far around towards the side of the wrist. If I wanted to wear the watch with the buckle near the centre of my wrist, then the fold back through the 2nd keeper would also be under my wrist, rather than up near the 12 o'clock position. Whilst many people might prefer that, I think that having the fold back in the 12 o'clock position means that it won't catch on anything, whereas moving it to the underside, or further around to the side of the wrist not only makes for a less comfortable fit and, whilst it may be more aesthetically pleasing to some to have the fold back out of sight, it might also be more prone to catching. Also, as the strap is much shorter than a typical NATO strap, whilst it will fit most wrists, those with larger wrists are likely to find that there may not be enough extra length on the strap to fold it back through the 2nd keeper at all, effectively making the 2nd keeper redundant. If the manufacturer deliberately made the strap shorter to please those who expect to wear it as a normal strap with the tongue of the strap running straight through the keepers, then those users will also be disappointed as they will also find that there is likely to be either too much, or not enough, length at the end of the strap to be able to use it in this way (the keepers are fixed in place so they can't be moved around to accommodate the end of the strap). Also, as the lugs on the keeper are quite large (which is not unusual for this style of strap), if the end of the strap was fed directly through the keeper, it would not be held in a way that felt secure.Having said that, in my case, the strap is long enough for me to use the 2nd keeper in the conventional way and, even though having the "bump" in the 12 o'clock position, means that the buckle is not positioned centrally under my wrist, it does feel as comfortable as other NATO straps and it has all the usual qualities of being easy to clean and care for and of drying almost instantly if it is exposed to water. However, considering I could have bought a more authentic version of the original "NATO" strap design for about the same amount of money (or slightly less), from a heritage brand that has loose connections to the company that actually supplied these straps to the UK military, I'm unlikely to be purchasing further straps of this sort from Archer.

Best watch strap ever
Comfortable, stylish, & looks like excellent quality. I've only had it a month, but I like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good watch strap. Now to rate Amazon. My first order, I did not receive. Amazon stepped up and refunded my money. On the reorder of the items the 3rd parcel was undelivered. Again Amazon stepped up and I got a refund on the undelivered items. I'm very impressed.

Comfortable, durable, affordable and stylish...what's not to like?
I recently changed my watch strap from a titanium one to a NATO strap (not via Amazon). The new strap was high quality seat belt-like and comfortable. The strap had a different coloured stripe which I liked. Unfortunately the stripe was pressed on as opposed to woven so the finish began to pill where my wrist made contact with anything. This was very annoying. Before purchasing that strap I had considered purchasing an Archer one...but buying a more expensive = a better strap right? Not in this case !So, I went back to Archer and selected a black and grey BOND style. Here the stripes are actually woven in to the material, so pilling should not be a problem! Fitting this strap is super easy...done in a minute or so once the old strap is removed...and voila...a new watch! The strap is very comfortable, appears to be well made and definitely does the job. The nylon isn't ultra-smooth but it does feel good on the wrist. The fittings appear to be good quality and the strap is easy to fit to the wrist using the buckle and the side fittings to tidy up any spare strap. My wrist measures 7 & 3/4 inches and the strap fits easily with the excess held out of the way. I have worn it since arrival and can report that, in addition to being comfortable, my wrist hasn't been sweating...something that metal/titanium straps make me do. As such I haven't been taking my watch off during the day, which is something I always used to do and which kinda negates the reason for wearing one !PLEASE NOTE - make sure that your watch is fitted with heavy duty pins to avoid them bending or breaking through daily use. I purchased some through Amazon. You will also require a removal tool in order to take off your old strap and to refit the pins to your watch before fitting your strap ( again, Amazon to the rescue ).So, if you want a well made, reasonably priced and comfortable strap that enhances the appearance of your watch you know what you need to do. I highly recommend this purchase...you won't regret it ! Indeed you may want to buy a couple so you can switch things about whenever you want to!
