Hard to find in the stores.
Kitchen scales are a common little appliance in the UK. Not so easy to find here in the USA. I have a little recipe book from 30 years ago and you must go by oz., lbs, etc. So, I had bought and brought a little one with me from Scotland. Long since lost through moves and such. This one is bigger. I haven't actually used it yet, but it looks great. The price was reasonable too.

Piece of junk and will not take return
The scale arrived today. Its reading with no weight is 1lb. and will not adjust to 0! Defective. out of the box! If I had known there was a no return policy, I would have passed right by it!

Precision scale
I like the scale but it came with one of the pieces for supporting the measuring bowl down in the bottom of the scale. My husband fished it out and put it back in the hole and everything works great. I really don't know if that deserves a 4 star instead of a 5 star review but my husband was aggravated about it so 4 star it is. Other than that it is sturdy and has a large measuring bowl and seems to be accurate enough. The lower price made it more appealing.

Superb Scale
After going through two digital scales which were not accurate, we decided to try this analog scale. It works perfectly. It’s easy to use and easy to read and very accurate.

Broken after one fall
The media could not be loaded. It is quite cheaply made. First concern was when you have to reset the scale to zero literally after every use, which is concerning. I would do that anyway but between the resets it didn’t even come close back to zero, which is not a good sign. And then one of my children accidentally knocked it off our counter, and after that it is irreparable, just stuck in one position as shown in the video.

Dial Broken
The internal mechanism to adjust the weight was broken. It comes with a plastic dial you stick in the top to adjust the weight, but the part on the inside was broken. Very disappointed!! On the plus side, the bowl is large, just wish I could have gotten it to work.

I was surprised at how nice this is because of the price. Well made. Easy to use. Weight easy to read. Very happy that I made this purchase.
