Amazing product! I just had turf installed about eight weeks ago. Supposedly some type of special canine sand was used and I would only have to rinse every two weeks. It started to smell within one week and that was with me rinsing it down within the first week. I live in the Nevada desert so there is no way we can have this smell in the summer. I googled solutions and found the Zeofill. I spread it with a handheld spreader turned to high and I rotated the handle slowly. It worked just fine. No need to spend money on a push spreader. I bought a 10.00 stiff broom on amazon and brushed it into the turf. I made about three rounds brushing it in a different direction each round. I gently sprayed the entire turf after I was done to settle the last bits into the turf. You can't even tell I put this stuff on. Instantly the smell was gone. Each day since, I walk around trying to get a whiff of pee and nothing. It is gone. I haven't rinsed it since the first day and plan on just doing a good spray every two weeks. I did buy the P-51 spray made by the same company and will use that if needed. This area is 310 square feet. The 40 lb. bag was more than enough to cover it twice and enough left over to triple down on the area they go potty in the most. I have three small dogs and one big dog using it. This was absolutely worth the money. Even if I only get six months instead of the year they claim you have to re-do it, I will be happy to spend the money every six months. I still can't get over how fast this stuff eliminated the problem. I can't believe there are bad reviews. They must have done something wrong. I think if I would have had older turf I probably would have had it cleaned professionally before adding the Zeofill. That's the only reason I can see it not working.

We live in Arizona. We had turf installed last summer. Our 2 dogs love the turf, but when it got hot the urine smell was horrible. We read some of the reviews for zeofill and decided to give it a try. All I can say is Wow! Zeofill is awesome! It took the nasty smell away and, really, the only time we get a whiff of urine smell is when a dog goes swimming and gets the tuff wet when they are shaking and drying off. We knew that would happen when the turf got wet because that’s what the information says. We are so impressed with zeofill we’re bought 3 bags because we don’t want to run out! It was 118 the other day and my turf had no nasty dog urine smell! Thanks zeofill!! Well worth the money in this AZ heat! They even write a handwritten thank you note for buying their product. We’ll be back

This stuff is unmatched! We have artificial turf and wanted to try and make it smell less. I've tried so many top rated products that didn't really work or only worked for 1 day. This stuff works!!!! It lasts a long time (put it on over a month ago and still no smell!) somehow it even works in the hot AZ summer which is amazing! Super easy to use and actually works. It even reduced the amount of flies in our backyard yay! That is an added bonus

I like it, but it gets all over everything

Great service from the place I purchased this from, Dog Turf Products. They sent a handwritten note thanking me for supporting their small business. Great product too. I live in Phoenix, have 3 50lb dogs, and a 20x25 foot patch of turf that was installed Jan of 2021 with the deodorizing pellets provided by the turf installers. I started noticing a weird smell, not necessarily urine, but definitely bad, later that summer, mostly would notice at night when it was cooler and no sun on the turf. Cleaned it with a Simple Green product designed for turf, it worked temporarily, and I'd recommend as normal maintenance. However, this product is also necessary. I ordered a 8lb container first to try it. It definitely helped so I ordered the 40lb bag. Put about half of it down, helped more, but still some smell occasionally. Put the remaining half out and it appears to have fixed it. I suspect I'll buy two 40lb bags every year, spring and fall, and spread the whole bag on my 500 sq ft, and Simple Green once a month.

There was nothing wrong with the infill, it just didn't work with my artificial turf. My contractor followed the instructions exactly as written, even watched a video & the infill just wouldn't stay in place. It was not very easy to spread & seemed like an awful lot was required. The grass we put down is fairly short, made especially for dogs, maybe that had something to do with why the infill would not stay in place. The day we put the infill on the grass, as per the instructions, we had a big thunderstorm & most of the infill washed away. For the price of the infill & the amount required, I simply cannot afford to keep replacing it. I live in the mountains in AZ & we are in our monsoon season and after several days of afternoon t-storms there is very little infill left on the grass. The dog also tracked the stuff in the house. It was all over the place. The grass drains very well, all pooling & puddling was gone within 30 minutes of the rain stopping, so I'm not sure why the infill is needed. For now I'm just going with what little is left & not replacing it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Does trap the smell and makes it easier to clean. You will need to spray urine neutralizer less often and your turff will smell less of urine.

I saw this product from Tiktok. It's getting a little scary how TikTok knows what I need, by the way. But anyway I ordered this infill because I always could smell an odor in my dog run. After scattering this on the turf and brushing it in with a push broom the smell seems to be gone! I wish I could have rented one of those rotating brush brooms because it was difficult to get all the product brushed in without leaving some of the white flakes on the top, but hey, I'm happy with the result.
