These valves are made with a heavy-duty and lead-free brass body that provides long-lasting strength and durability. The F-95 Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve is certified to be lead-free in accordance with NSF 333; compliant with ASSE standard 1003 and CSA standard B356 From the Manufacturer The RPZ features a short lay length and a single top access cover for easy servicing, and two distinct checks that prevent misplacement in the valve.

I keep my water temp hot in my hot water heater, but it will never be above 125 degrees, so I'm just fine without the temp gage. I wrapped some Teflon tape around it, installed it and no more leaks. It was easy to install. fitted perfectly, and was priced fairly compared to others I had researched.

It's a great product if you don't need a temperature gage...it's not included.
