Priced doubled in 5 months; quality suffered
I love this tea! A breakfast tea that is not too harsh yet brisk enough to start my day. In July 2022, I ordered a box of 100 teabags that were individually packaged for $9.96. December 2022 I tried to re-order but was surprised to see that the price has doubled to $19.99. In order to get the same July price, I had to order two boxes of 50 bags that are: (1) not individually packaged, (2) two bags are attached to each other so you do have to rip them a part which is no big deal, (3) these bags are missing the string on each to easily remove the teabag from scalding water in tea cup; (4) the box has no inner wax paper lining to keep the tea from drying out. Disappointing. With what’s going on in the world today with supply chain issues and all, I can understand a price increase but double?! I’ll be putting the new teabags in a jar with a tight fitting lid to keep them fresh. My photo shows the new box of tea bags with no lining with the previous individually packaged tea bag in front of it.

High quality, each bag can be used twice, good value for money
I compared 4 different English breakfast teas: Stash, Twinings, Teavana (Royal English Breakfast, purchased from Starbucks,) and Taylors of Harrogate. [resident of Pacific Northwest, limited to 1 cup of caffeinated tea per day; per teabag: 1/2 cup boiling water, steep for 3 minutes, stir in1/4 cup of evaporated skim milk, add about 8 oz. liquid nonfat milk, zapped in microwave for one to one & 1/2 minutes, sweetened with stevia & monkfruit] On a one to 10 scale, Stash: 5, a little more acerbic than the other three; Twinings: 6, nice mild flavor; Teavana: 7; Taylors: 8; Teavana and Taylors bags can both be used twice (the second time, it's decaf and the flavor is less pronounced,) but the Taylors brew stands up to the milk and sweeteners a little better*. Taylors is the only tea that comes as unwrapped sachets in a roll, it's easy to separate an individual bag, but they don't have a little string and tag attached to each one. I had an empty metal coffee can with a plastic lid that was large enough to hold the box, so I put it in there. From an ecological point of view, the elimination of string, staples or glue, a wrapper for each teabag means less waste, & I suspect that it keeps the costs down, per serving, it costs about the same as Twinings, and less than Teavana. *the only advantage/disadvantage of the stronger tea flavor is that I am motivated to brush my teeth after breakfast.

If you like your tea strong and flavoursome, these tea bags are just the thing. The only other tea that compares is Yorkshire Gold. A fantastic tea at a great price.

These Teabags are totally lush, by far the best tasting on the market. You'll only get better by purchasing a high quality loose tea.

These tea bags make an absolutely lovely tea. I only hope they have started to improve conditions for the workers following the BBC documentary.

Lovely tea, a taste above your every day tea, worth the extra money (less than 4p a tea bag!)
