C64 FDD Dual PSU Modern Gray US - Replacement Commodore 64 + FDD 1541-II Power Supply, US Plug

This is great being able to power the C64 and the 1541-II disk drive at the same time. Never use your original C64 power supply, they will fail and fry your C64.

Powers both the C64 and a disk drive without getting hot. Much improved over the original "brick" transformers.

The 9V AC measures 13V. And on the drive cable it’s suppose to have 5V DC and 12V DC, the 5V is there but there is no 12V. Unfortunately I didn’t find out until after the 30 day return window so now I’m stuck with something I’ll end up throwing in a parts drawer. If this was a quality item it would have a warranty, but none was listed.

I use both my c64 and disc drive with the power supply. I love this item. Very good value

Works great. I wish Commodore had this when they sold them.

The price was a little higher than I wanted to spend, and I didn’t realize it was shipping from Europe... but once I received it.. the power supply works great! My only complaints are very minor; the connection is a little tight when plugging into the c64, and the emblem on the psu itself that says “c64” lights up, and can’t be turned off. Although the more I use it, the more I kinda like the light up emblem. Overall I would highly recommend this!
