Works great! Installs easy enough. Well….pain in the butt to wire all of the other stuff such as steering wheel controls and connecting to the vehicle’s existing amp. This isn’t 1993 any longer. Radio works great and sounds awesome. I was really after the Bluetooth capability. Maybe I will get brave one day and add an additional amp, or two, or three.

Update its been over a year and the radio is ok it has connectivity issues sometimes not very much sometimes when you turn it on you get no sound then have to restart it but the worst thing and something I've never seen is the screen is literally in separate pieces so that makes a gap and let's alot of dust into the under side of the screen and can not be cleaned off it stands out bad in daylight but at night not so much

Love this radio! Replaced my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 factory radio with this one and it is a world of difference. Touch screen responds well equalizer is easy to program. Apple CarPlay works flawlessly via Bluetooth. My only issue is that at time of this review KENWOOD does not have an update for iPhone 11 or newer. Because of this I cannot hook up my phone to the USB port to charge and it will not go into CarPlay via charging cord. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise this is a great radio.

Everything works great, love the Andoid wireless. One common complaint is how dim it seems in during the day. New cars with factory integrated radios come with the radios recessed into the dash to block out the sunlight. Most of the aftermarket dash kits have the radio sitting flush to the dash which puts it in the sunlight while driving. I am going to look into other dash mounting kits that would recess the radio back and block out the sun but the unit itself has been great.

Works exactly as intended. Install it, love it, enjoy it. It's great.

Could not get mirroring to work for longer than 5 seconds, and insutruction manual didn't make the process clear despite using the app. Wasn't able to ajust screen brightness beyond 3 different settings. Was not able to erase radio channels, just replace them. If starting up with Apple Car play, then disconnecting to use bluetooth, was not able to switch back to apple carplay without plugging in the USB cable. Aftwards if cable was disconnected, then apple carplay disappeared and went back to bluetooth options. Overall needs software improvements. There might have been a better ways to do things, but I could not figure them out after several days a testing.
