I really wanted to like these shoes. We have a 55lb pittie that’s pretty energetic and we use the shoes to protect her feet from the grass/weeds due to allergies.Pros:When they get wet, they dry pretty quickly. The bottom also seems really durable to last a long time.Cons:The biggest problem I have is that they don’t stay in my dog’s feet. They twist or start to fall off whether we try putting socks on, tighten them, or try different sizes, especially when our dog starts to run. I really wish they worked out better for our dog!

We have a 16-year old Lhasa Apso, who is starting to lose muscle mass and therefore has really weak legs. It doesn't help that we have wooden floors, that caused her to slip all the time. She could barely stand up on the floor before splaying down, let alone walk around. Suffice to say it was extremely heart-breaking to watch her struggle so hard to simply stand up. The result was constant yelping and whining, to the point where we would have to hold her hips and help her walk around for a bit. We tried getting paw pads, they would stay on for about 3 hours or so, and then fall off. We tried using sticky tape, and that worked well till it gathered dust from the floor, and as soon as that happened she'd start slipping and sliding again. We tried about 4 different brands of doggy shoes, and they were all either not grippy enough or just wouldn't stay on her feet. At our wits end, we were ready to carpet the whole area, when I stumbled upon these boots. And they have worked MIRACULOUSLY thus far! Earlier we'd be happy when we saw something working, only to be deflated when the purpose was utterly defeated within a few hours. We have had these boots on her for close to 10 days, and I can finally confirm that they actually WORK! Our dog can actually walk around the house without "ice-skating" all the time. Her whining and yelping has all but disappeared, and it's almost like she's learnt to walk all over again.PROS:1. Rubber soles are really good, they really grip the floor and help our dog walk.2. The design of these shoes is better than every other pair we've tried. In most other shoes, there was no opening other than from the top to put your dog's paw in. And if your dog was fussy about getting the shoes on, it would be extremely hard to have them put on in a manner that they actually stayed on the paws. With these shoes, it's almost a 3-sided opening. So it makes it really easy to slide the paw in and hold it in place before fastening the shoe shut.3. The velcro on the shoes is LONG. And that is awesome, because you can run two loops around the ankle to securely fasten the shoes ensuring they don't fall off when your dog is walking around.4. They can be easily washed and cleaned!CONS:1. If you have a dog that is fussy about getting shoes on, it can be tricky to get these securely fastened. You would have to make your dog stand and then ensure the paws are in all the way before fastening the shoe. (Our dog is 12.7 lbs, so it's easy for me to pick her up and put the shoes on her)2. The smallest size was still about a quarter to half size large for my dog's hind paws. So, you need to measure the size of your dog's paws really carefully before deciding to buy this. However, for our dog, this size difference doesn't seem to affect her, and she's able to walk around properly.For the price listed, these are EXTREMELY functional shoes. We have not tried to walk her outside for very long with the shoes on, but they serve the purpose of helping our dog walk on wooden floors indoors without slipping an sliding. Definitely recommended!

Fit great but they need to be more durable. My Beagle wore these twice on two walks less than a mile and a half long. They are ruined. To be fair there doesn't appear to be a shoe that can hold up to her abuse. I sure wish there was a solution other than shoe goo.Dog shoes should be able to withstand a sidewalk for more than 2 days

I'm giving 2 stars for comfort, because I followed the instructions. I measured both with the paw prints, and measuring tape. Still the first set were so big they slipped right off. Just one move, and off they went. They look, and feel like I would want to use them in the cold weather. So I ordered him a smaller set.

the boots looked and feel great. the measurement is given to measure your dog paw prints were not so good. I order what website told me but when the arrived it seemed one size to big. i am returning the ones i ordered and reordering one size smaller. the boot is actually great besides not fitting my baby. Hopefully, next order will be great.

I really don't know anything the worthiness of the boots. When I put the boots on Toby, we walked around the house, and then I told him to keep them on for a while. Toby pulled the velcro and kicked the boot off. That was the end of that, I returned them, ergo the 3 stars.

The quality of the material is good. The boots are easy to slip on the dogs paws. I appreciate the straps to help the boots stay on but because of the location of the straps, they can irritate my dogs dewclaws. The boots can slip off, if the straps are not tight around the dogs ankle.

These are extremely well made. Sadly they slip down and forward in my dog’s feet. Yes, I purchased the correct size. It takes about a dozen steps before readjustment or removal. Sad. As I have an older boxer who’s back feet require traction to avoid the Bambi on the ice slipAnd slide.

These doggie boots are fabulous... they protect the feet (and corns in our dog's case) and fit securely on our whippet.Very reasonable price too.
