They are very comfortable cushion wise. We always need a pair of slip ons at reach in case we have to run outside to get our dogs. I bought these for my husband. He wears a size 10 but these are a bit snug for him which in our case works out because I too can wear them for the short period I would need them for. You may want to get the next size up.
