What is the source of this product? Is it vegetable-derived?

Although ceremides can be derived from animal sources such as cows, most sources are derived or extracted from sweet potatoes or whole grains such as wheat or brown rice. To my understanding of Ceremide-3 powder it is not vegetable derived like from the sweet potatos or corn but rather derived from rice brand oil and is 99+% pure. This powder is for topical use only.
