I have two cats one which is a Maine coon (25 lbs) and holds him perfectly. However, I need to order another one since the two cats battle it out who gets the bed. In love and so are my cats. Easy to install (used a drill for my walls) and very secure once set up. My cat loves it. He is a jumper so I think he enjoys having a perch that requires the use of his talent. It also affords him a nice safe haven from our other cat. After a while, cat hair builds up on the pillow cover, but I was able to easily unzip it and toss it in the wash, gentle cycle. There was minor shrinking of the cover after washing, but its still easy to pop the cover back on. After a spell or two with my cat on it, plus the snaps stretching it back, the padding is pretty much back to its usual shape. I will say this--be wary if you plan on setting this up next to any framed photos/pictures/posters/art. My cat has learned that a great way to get my attention when he is sacked out on the Curve is to stretch his wee little paw out and bat the closest framed photo.
