Better than any Apple iPod!
I have had over the years Apple iPod Classic and Zune HD for music. Yes, I use my phone to listen to music as well, but the smaller iPod and Zune provide a nice way to carry a lot of music and listen to it with headphones. (Yes, Apple, headphones, ones that still plug in, there are a few of us who still use wired headphones.)I owned a Sony Walkman Cassette player for years and years, and long ago it gave up and I replaced it with the Zune & Apple devices. I still wanted a long battery life, lots of memory and a HEADPHONE jack. So, when my Zune could no longer be updated with Windows 10, and my iPod Classic stopped working, I decided to give Sony a try. What a difference! The Walkman held all my music, sounded great and had an excellent battery life, and a HEADPHONE jack. Setting up was painless, functions are fairly easy to use, volume can be loud, playback is truly random, (hear that Apple, random, not stuck playing the first 100 or less songs over and over again skipping over the rest of the music.) skip, stop, reverse, forward etc. worked correctly.Transferring all my music was as easy as copy and paste. (So much better than Apple or Zune, I did not need additional software, just Microsoft.)Would I recommend the Sony Walkman? Had I known Sony still made a Walkman but in digital format, I would never have bought the Apple iPod Classic, or the Zune. The Walkman surpassed anything Apple could ever make.
