It's Their way or the Highway. Customer service poor.
I won’t deal with this company ever again. I bought a Stealth 13 4k touch. Loved the machine but the screen would flicker when moving the screen. As it got worse, I opened a case for repair. Communication was awesome and after a week of trying all the software solutions I sent it in for repair Sept 23rd. It needed a new screen and parts were on back order. Quite understandable and normal as of lately. They offered a replacement, one with only the HD screen. The 4k screen was the reason I bought this device, so I declined. Every other day, Razor would offer the same deal and I declined every time. I even offered to pay the difference to upgrade to a Blade 15 with the 4k touch screen a couple times. On the 7th attempt I forwarded every response I had sent them to get the point across I did NOT want the model they were offering. Oct 13th, they offered a refund, and I gave them authorization for refund. Oct 20th, I receive an email that my Stealth has been repaired and has shipped. Yay! It comes in, I’m excited. “Good Feeling gone” now the screen doesn’t work AT ALL and there is a huge chunk missing out of it. New Case, return device for refund Oct 21st. They receive the device Oct 27th and confirm receipt Oct 28th. Nov 9th still no refund and daily emails saying “We are still waiting for an update from our finance team for the completion of your wire transfer refund. A follow up has been for you. Rest assured, we are continuing to monitor the case to ensure that it is handled with utmost priority.“ So far, I have been contacted by Mark, Clark, Kevin, Joebert, Roland, Therese, Clint, James, Drew, Empliny, Diamon, Aki, Job, Louella, Jay, and I probably missed someone with the miles of emails. With all these contacts I have concluded that it wasn’t a single employee that dropped the ball but it is Razer policy to bounce the customer around until they are worn out.

I simp over my Razer Stealth 13
This is the sweet spot between portability and performance. I wanted something similar in weight to my Apple MacBook but more powerful but at a similar price point. This is an absolute winner. I can do all my video editing for school projects, having a dedicated graphics card is a plus. I love that I can add a Bluetooth controller and play Xbox pass or steam games when I need a break. I did compare it to a Rog Zephyrus g14. The Rog is more powerful, but I couldn’t get past the noise levels and the plastic body. So, having an aluminum body that is quieter, was more important and I was happy to pay the $$500 difference. It is a beautiful piece of machinery. I do have a gaming PC, so I didn’t want or need a Razer Blade 15. I know the strengths and limitations of a gtx 1650ti. Perfect gift if you have a kid in middle school-college. Just make sure you also include a wireless controller.

Decent as expected at this price point
I have some 15.6" laptops that stay at home as they are to heavy and big for being "portable". I like the 13-14" form factor. Disclaimer: I also own a 13" MacPro and a SurfaceBook pro 14". Also disclaimer, I have a older 13" stealth that I never use because I hate the 1080P screen on it. I've unboxed and setup this computer. Forgetting for the moment the now requirement to have a Microsoft account (this can be worked around later after being setup) the computer does not come with any bloatware other then the Microsoft crap. Easy to remove. Since I'm used to high resolution screens, I like the screen on this one. Oddly for a "laptop" the two fan input areas fall right where your legs would go if using it as a laptop. I hate to say that I don't really have high hopes for ether the gaming abilities or the battery life on this one. However given that it does have a dGPU I'll expect to at least run some games on it, given the weak dGPU and the response time of the 4K screen it is questionable what types of games and how well they will play on this thing. So why did I buy it? It was Black Friday and I was looking for a new toy. 12/2/2021 update: This little laptop has become my favorite! I just love the beautiful screen! If you don't mind playing older and less demanding games the 1650ti works good enough. (I have fallout3 installed and I'm playing @4K with High/Ultra settings!) There are a TON of fun and less demanding games on Steam. (<=2014?) Just for fun I play MIR4 on it. On the 4K screen the game only renders a window (expandable) so you can do other things while auto-farm/questing. It looks stunning on this screen! At the default window size the GPU is not maxed out and the bottom does not get hot (slightly warm). The 'fix' for games here is the Thunderbolt3 port. I have a Razor case and RTX3070ti inbound that hopefully will fix (at least for gaming at home) modern game and resolution limitations for now. Considering the cost of dGPU cards, for a bit more one can get a entire new laptop (was shopping Razor 14 with RTX3070) but decided against it.

The Best
So far so AMAZING.. this laptop is the best one I have ever bought for myself. It plays the new flight simulator from Microsoft on Ultra with very little performance issues. I got the 4k touch screen and it is crystal clear. Better overall than I expected. Fingerprint problems? Try a babywhipe or a very barely moist plush microfiber.

Poor customer support
Great laptop on paper, but made cheaply and horrible customer support mean you should look elsewhere. There are plenty of other choices in the compact gaming laptop at this point. The down arrow key on my keyboard is made of cheap plastic and broke after very limited use. Razer first told me that was a "cosmetic" issue excluded from warranty. After much escalation, they finally "offered" to replace the keyboard under warranty but that the replacement would involve being without the laptop for several weeks.

#neveragain
