As the proud owner of four German Shepherds, keeping our house clean has always been a bit of a challenge. It's a good, quality rug and the color is vibrant, but the way it is shipped, the edges curl up and may pose a trip hazard. I am using it as a front door mat to place shoes on when coming in from the outdoors. It works well for this purpose. Also, it traps the dirt and it does not slip or move around on my LVP flooring, nor has it scratched the flooring. Overall, it's a good product and I do recommend, but I also think it needs to be flattened out first before use.

I am loving this rug/mat. It really does get the mud off of my dogs paws. A few days ago one of my dogs threw up on the rug so I had to wash it. It was raining at the time. When they came back and I saw paw prints everywhere for the first time since I got the rug and had to mop right away. Now that the mat is back in place, no more paw prints all over my kitchen despite the rain we’ve had lately. I 100% recommend. It’s not bad looking either. I got it and black because of the red Georgia clay that I did not want to be visible all over the rug. It’s perfect.!

Dog thinks it is soft enough to sleep on.Quality and function are high so I bought a second one.I’ve washed one but not the second one. They wash so well I can’t tell the washed rug from the unwashed rug.

I have tried a few things over the years including a similar adhesive type but nothing seemed to keep my rugs in place. This product works great! I only need to use two of them on my entryway rug and two on a medium sized looped rug in a bedroom and I no longer have rugs slipping all over my hardwood floors. Very pleased!

This mat does a great job of keeping rain and paw prints off the floor. The backing prevents the mat from sliding around and prevents water from soaking through to the floor under the mat. I’m very pleased with the performance of this product.

This is my third one. The others I bought 3 years ago and are like new. Another fur baby, another rug. Sturdy yet soft. Does it’s job.

It's soft and looks good, but it sucks up water and dirt when the dog runs in on rainy days.

Great absorbant non slip rug I got it because my dog drips water all over after drinking. Will buy different sizes for other areas in my home including as a bath mat.

This is a MIRACLE rug...no exaggerating. I had soooo much stress dealing with mud, dog hair, dirt etc on our new floor in our newly renovated house. The landscaping is not done yet so when the dog came back inside, usually dirt, mud, etc came back in too. I laid down sheets, rugs, towels, everything I could think of to try and keep the kitchen floor clean. Nothing worked and in fact, the sheets or towels I laid down looked even worse because they would be full of dog hair. I researched on line quite a bit as I wanted a rug that would help but also look attractive in our brand new kitchen. This Gorilla Grip carpet is remarkable. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The quality is great...does not look cheap...I bought the 60 x 36 in charcoal, and it looks beautiful in our grey kitchen. Our dog lays on it all the time and no dog hair shows. The dirt that comes off his paws does not show on the rug. I noticed another review that commented that it still looked great after weeks and had not even washed it yet....well that IS true. After 3 weeks I finally washed it just so I could see how well it washed. But it still looked great after 3 weeks of not washing. I washed it on gentle and ran it through the spin cycle 2X to get more of the water out...then dried it on low...came out perfect. I did notice some paw prints on the floor even with this carpet but so much better than before. I am ordering 2 more for the front and side door...expensive but worth every penny.

I have 6 of these now, all different colors and sizes! Gorilla is an awesome brand. To wash, throw in cold cycle, then air dry, and ready to go. Have lasted me so far about 5 years!! Love this brand

This grips well and stays in place as a doormat. During fall we are constantly battling against leaves coming inside our small suite - the text of the mat grabs the leaves easily, as well as any other dirt we bring in. It's long enough that even with the dog galloping through the front door after a walk, it soaks up enough of the wet/mud on his paws so that we aren't wiping up his footprints afterwards. My only gripe is the size of it - 48 inches long is great, but it would be better if it was at least 36inches wide to cover the entirety of the doorway. If you had a smaller, or less jubilant, dog you could get away with orienting it the other way but we need it to act as a runway essentially.Also it's very flexible, no stiff backing, so super easy to wash without worrying about damaging your washing machine.
