Works well..Just be patient. Grass is a deep green color. If you cam keep pets off it initially, the perfect grass! Nice, dense growth.

It took closer to two weeks to see a substantial amount of new growth, however I did no soil preparation and some areas saw foot traffic so I was not expecting things to be ideal. Eventually I got a good stand of grass. I plan to buy more to continue overseeding the area of my yard where the kids do their soccer training.

I will be buying this on a regular basis. The color of the grass is a beautiful green and it is growing nicely. My property is a combination of sun and shade. My brother also commented on the color. He asked me what I used and I gave him the product information. I could only do half of my front yard because of the weather. The rain did all of the watering of the grass without my help.

It definitely grew. We had our pasture professionally graded and seeded a year and a half ago. It came in OK but several thin spots. So last spring I rented an overseeder machine and over seeded the whole pasture. I saw no difference. So last fall and I prepped the whole pasture, planted it in both directions and watered it diligently twice a day for a month. We have grass along the sides and in places we didn’t have it before. I like the way this product said it sent runners that would continually spring up and fill in. So it definitely sprouted well. The only thing I’ve noticed is the horses aren’t eating that. They’re staying in the areas with the older blend of seed.

Purchased in March 2021. The bag purchased from Amazon was applied properly and had very little of it germinate. Re applied weeks later , lightly scarified ground, topped with a little top soil and covered with 1/8" peat moss and kept seed moist for two weeks with very little germination. Zero herbicides used other than the Scott's starter with mesitrione. I was excited to see what the Turf Pro RPR was all about. I believe it's a good quality seed however its unacceptable to purchase a 10 lb bag to get failed results. Please Barenbrug, send me another bag and I will send what littleni have left.UPDATE.. 6/14/21.. barenbrug still wants to know exactly how I applied the seed. They are following my Instagram Superta329 and actually think maybe I did something wrong. I have an amazing lawn and never had such poor germination. I recently posted a small 115sqft of Rebel TTTF 2 month update which is amazing yet 4th attempt of their seed andbstill not filling in. Very disappointed in this company. Go to Superseedstore of you want some premium Elite seed. They obviously dont stand behind their product.NoTE. I will say that I believe that the RPR is a great seed from all my research however the bag I purchased from Amazon had very poor germination and listed weed seed which barenbrug says it should be zero weed seed. Hmmmm....I noticed Amazon hasn't had it for purchase in over 3 months. Shady company.

Used for a fall overseeding last year. We have dogs, so urine spots are a significant problem. I thought why not try something that should spread and fill in dead areas. Thus far this spring this grass is doing exactly that to my astonishment. In healthy soil it gets very thick and looks great, though when first planting, it's a little lighter green. It will darken up over time, however.While this is expensive compared to big box stuff, it's well worth the premium.

Great results so far. First overseeding in fall 2024 came in great. Looking good so far rolling into May 2025. Big test is going to be summer as we are boarderline too far south for cool season grass in my area (hot and humid). I would say 80% of neighbors have warm season grass and my typical bluegrass lawn is toast by August. Fingers crossed - and will update with enthusiasm if this ryegrass is kicking end of this summer.Second use was just days ago and wanted to share pics of great germination rate.
