If I understand your question the answer is yes. That is what I am using with my Millermatic 252. My tank is size Q and it' height is 31" so not a lot taller than the welder.

This welder is so professional and easy to use it makes a novice weld like a pro. I am a professional aviation welder and wouldn't use anything but the Miller 252 to do the work I need to do...best 3000$ you will ever spend if you like to weld a lot !!
