I purchased this shovel to do some light trenching. I have rocky soil and some of the trenching abuts a driveway. This shovel was perfect for me. It is light. The ergonomic shape of the handle makes it very stable while digging. And the cutting edge helped with vegetation clearing. The foot rest on top was the perfect size to help clear the trench while I was digging.

The shovel works well with clay soil and roots, it has cut the amount of effort on my part at least in half ... which at my age is key !! 🙂 It seems very sturdy .

I needed a new garden spade and spent quite a bit of time considering my options. I settled on this one because of the unique design and fairly light weight. I’m a 65+ woman. The serrated edges really help cut through soil and roots when I removed a few dead shrubs. The different hand holds and curve of the handle add to the comfort and utility.

I originally bought this shovel for metal detecing since it was smaller. I ended up returning it because it felt heavier to me than expected, also bulkier than expected and I wasn't comfortable carrying it around while metal detecting. Overall it was a sturdy shovel and was good for digging small plugs, just a little too heavy for me.

I am an older, retired, petite woman. After reading some of the reports I was hesitant about ordering this edge trimmer. So glad I did! It was not too heavy at all and I love the saw blade at the side. Comfortable in my hands, performance is great and I believe I have a good product and my lawn looks so much better.

This is exactly what I needed to dig deep to plant flowers. The arrow shape is perfect for getting under the roots of any existing plant you want to move. But it is also great for planting new plants. The point of the shovel blade digs deeper than any regular shovel. I love mine.Price is good too

Well made. You've still got to have the strength you would use if you had a shovel. Better than a shovel just not sharper and of course a shorter handle making you more dependent on placing it correct vs a shovel of raising it up and powering down to cut.

The media could not be loaded. OK, so I have spent many a pretty penny on forks and at some points my wrists die, I get blisters on my palms, even though I'm wearing gloves, and without a doubt I bend a finger of the fork.This contraption may appear unnecessary and even a frivolous expense, however, it is not just a pretty face! It made digging my flower bed an absolute breeze and I did get less stones getting stuck in between the blades. This cut up the soil so nicely and the angle of the handle made it so much easier to dig. I'm impressed with the quality and hope to have this it for many years. I just think if you have to do a job, why not make it as easy as possible, and boy does it do just that!

I’ve had a few edging tools over the years and they’ve all broken at the bottom of the wooden handle…probably due to me using them to create new edging and carving up sections of lawn to remove for beddings etc. Anyway, I’m really happy with this purchase. Used it to create a new flowerbed and to section off turf to be removed…did a great job including breaking through 2 inch thick roots.

I bought this product to be my adventure companion, I practice metal detecting, it's my main hobby.During the years I tried / used several products, many of them very high quality, but since I bought this one, the other shovels are getting rusty.

It is very sturdy and piercing into the clay soil very well.
