Just when you think Mr. Hunter can't possibly top his last amazing albums, he comes out with this peach. What a great summer album after this s**t show of a year. Thank you!

James Hunter puts out another enjoyable release of soulful, fun R&B! He's been doing this style of classic R&B for a longtime and knows how to deliver the goods. This is one of his best and another on the Daptone Records Label!

Just arrived this morning and has been on continuous play. Another fine album from Mr Hunter.It's easy to draw comparisons with a number of late 50s and early 60s artists (Sam Cooke, Impressions, Drifters, even Nat King Cole) but that may be to miss the point. Nine albums in, James is his own man, has his own sound and is reassuringly consistent. When I get a new James Hunter album I worry initially that his sound may be progressing. It isn't! It may be getting better but he is not an artist pushing the boundaries or thriving on change. No one else out there is crafting three minute RnB songs like these. I can't imagine that the remixers would want to get their hands on JH tunes. How could they improve on them?So, an excellent album that adds to the James Hunter impressive canon. The only minor disappointment was the lack of a rock steady tune. Another genre that James excels in.
