Great resource for young students
Our 8 year old is learning States and their capitals. The presentation as one page reports from kids is entertaining and effective. Highly recommended

Really great book about the states
This is a really wonderful book to help you learn about the states. Colorful and fun to read! Just the right amount of information. I’d say ages 5-12 would love this

Great book for young learners
Very easy to understand and get involved for my 5yr old. She loves it and is starting to learn more and more every week about this great country. (MAGA). I was skeptical at firs,t buying it online bc of some previous reviews but ours showed up in mint condition, on time, no complaints. Very much recommend and would buy again if need be.

Nice Little Book
Good book for kids beginning to learn about the United States. I wish there was a full scale map in it, though--that's why only 4 stars.

great elementary intro to 50 states
My 7 yr old daughter was in 1st grade when we bought this book. My daughter's class went from studying the 43 presidents to studying the 50 states. We had been pleased w/the presidents book from this same series, so we bought the state version. The small size, paperback nature, reading level, & casual drawings (like an elementary class project) make it VERY KID FRIENDLY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for the target audience -is elementary school children who will have a chance to study/grasp more in depth material later.

Great series of books
My 8 year old loves the "Smart About The..." series. The information in all of these is short and sweet, so that she learns a lot without getting bored or bogged down with details that she won't retain at this age.

Using this with my Kindergartener
I bought this book - along with a Melissa and Doug United States puzzle - to use with my daughter, who I'm homeschooling for Kindergarten. We're reading about 5 or 6 states each week. Some of the information is above her head, but most of it holds her interest. I mainly just want to get her familiar with the names of the states, and we'll go through this book again in a couple of years. This is not an in-depth study of the states, but if you want to learn a little about each state in a fun way, this is perfect.

For Adults and Children
As a Canadian reading about American History, I found this little book very interesting. Great book for anyone looking to increase their knowledge about American History.
