These gloves do require some breaking in, but otherwise are fantastic. I generally see wear on these gloves three or four months into every day use, and I have had a couple of pairs that lasted much longer than that.I was introduced to these during my time in the Army, and immediately fell in love with them. Once broken in, there isn't a more comfortable glove. The Mechanix gloves offer slightly more finger dexterity, but the Oakley gloves are still very good in that regard. I am easily able to load 5.56x45 rounds by hand or using a StripLULA (If you're in the military or law enforcement and regularly carry/shoot a patrol rifle, go buy one of those NOW http://www.amazon.com/Butler-Creek-AR-15-Strip-Loader/dp/B001HBHNGU/). 7.62x51 rounds and pistol rounds are even easier, though the last round in some 9mm magazines are slightly more difficult because of the give in the glove.I also use these gloves when riding a quad (4-wheeler/ATV), and they keep my hands dry from light rain and protected from wind and debris. Much to my surprise, my hands actually stay warm and dextrous in these. I used them during the winter on the quad, flying up and down stuff for fun and helping people get their vehicles unstuck, and realized that my hands weren't cold. I ended up using them while elk hunting in January in northern New Mexico (was -3°f when we went outside in the morning), and was again surprised that my hands stayed warm enough to function a trigger, though I still ended up burying my hands between my legs and would really would rather have had winter gloves. That said, they don't make my hands sweat too much or get too hot during the summer.The Mechanix gloves are definitely a better work glove in terms of protection and dexterity, especially when working on vehicles, but after having used both (I also rate the Mechanix 5-star) I would prefer these gloves over the Mechanix for any type of vehicle, tactical, or outdoor use. These gloves are obviously the more expensive option, and that's the only real viable reason for not using these gloves.

I was estatic when I finally got these in the mail. You can’t even barely find them anymore u less they’re used! These gloves fit true to size. The most absolute perfect multi use gloves for almost anything you need to do. Knuckles fit good and are comfortable. You could punch the concrete and wouldn’t feel much. Only con would be they’re not touch screen compatable. The only thing I would suggest if you are lookin to grab a pair and you got oversized knuckles would be to get a size bigger. They’re very rounded for protection at the knuckle. Cheers

Got these gloves about 6 months ago and so far they’ve been great! The fabric is great and the fit is perfect. I live in a desert where highs got to 120 and they never got too hot. I also ride in the winter and they don’t get too cold either. Phenomenal grip too and they are too gaudy.

No touch screen capability at all. However its comfortable and soft and i like them so much that im torn between wearing them all the time and not wearing them at all because i dont want to damage them.

The touchscreen didn’t work on my iPhone7.Doing deck hand work they get wet a lot and they tend to like to stay damp and get dye on my hand but they’re good work gloves

Heavy duty gloves. Feels great. The fit is just perfect to the point that you feel it’s a part of your hands after eating it for a while. And nice touch in regards to the carbon knuckles.

Purchased as a riding glove gives good feeling for throttle response and easy to still operate clutch and brake with gloves on

Touchscreen functionality is hit or miss. I got these gloves to work in without tearing up my hands. They are perfect for that. The fit well while also offering me the dexterity needed to perform tedious tasks.
