Hyperflite Pup Frostbite 7" Dog Disc

It may be resistant to the cold weather but it is definitely is not resistant to dog teeth. Thought I was getting a frisbee comparable to the Jawz frisbee for a little less of the price. Not the case! This disc last about 4 days before it was mangled and out of shape, and this was just playing normal fetch 3-4 times a day, not letting my dog keep it and chew it. My advise, spend a few extra bucks and purchase the Jawz frisbee.

I have a CoJack, Corgi Jack Russell mix that loves to chase balls and frisbees, if you throw them to her she catches them often jumping several feet into the air, and brings them back. I've bought several different types of frisbees but she favors these the most. There are about 6 diffent types lying in my yard at any given time, and these are the ones she brings me to throw to her most often. They are a softer plastic and stand up better to chewing than most. Even after they've been mawled a bit they will still fly fairly well. Also these discs are a good choice if you just want a disc to throw back and forth, easy to catch and easy on the hands. In the wind, because of their shape they tend to rise and fall dramtically which I think is a pretty cool feature. And believe it or not but they actually do seem to be just as soft when it's freezing outside.

Nothing comes close to any Hyperflite Disc for flyability. The disks just fly very well. I have been working with Disc Dogs for decades. My brother's dog is a former World Champion. I have moved exclusively to Hyperflite. The PUP versions are great introductions. One secret: Never let you dog have the disc for anything other than playing this game. It is not a chew toy. Hide it unless you are going to toss it to the dog or work with the dog to learn to toss it. It has to be special when you pull it from the bag.

This Disc if for PUPS only!!! With that said,my blue heeler had teeth marks all over this disc in the first 10 minutes. Will never purchase this item again, save your money!!!!!

I have purchased three other Hyperflite discs (three different varieties) and was VERY happy with those. This "frostbite" disc is not of the same quality. Through normal use (dog is never allowed to chew on the discs - they're for catching only), it was damaged within the first few tosses (teeth punctures). It is very lightweight, which makes it difficult to use in any wind. I will purchase Hyperflite discs again, but will stick with the "Jawz," "Jawz X-Comp," and "K-10 Pup Jawz" versions. All three of these have stood up VERY well to many frisbee sessions.
