Chalk Talks on Alcohol (Quicksilver Book)

I enjoyed the information provided in this book. From a new recovering alcoholic I am seeking as much information as possible. This book came highly recommended from a couple intelligent sources. Although I wasn't blown away by this book it provided inside to my disease and lessons I have learned to carry with me throughout my life.

I met Father Martin in 1992 at CW Post College and eversince then his book has stayed in my spirit and I give this book as a gift to people who are new in recovery. I like the comparison how alcohol is a remover.

Father Martin was a man who had a great love for his fellow man and especially his brothers and sisters in Alcoholics Anonymous. His lecutures, books, videos, and CD's have been of help and inspiration to untold number of alcoholics. I have met him in person, yet felt a deep sense of loss when he died just a few years ago. He is very influential in my own recovery.

Explained much and provided clarification

This book contains guidelines to follow for a healthy, happy life, suggestions to follow that can be used by everyone.

Easy to understand for anyone dealing with the disease of alcoholism or with a loved one who is. Fundamental knowledge base with a message of love and understanding. Excellant.

His talks are amazing. He had left us a great legacy and Amazon makes it easy to be in touch

This is a great read, and one that I will likely read over and over.

For anyone that is struggling with alcoholism themselves or has a family member or friend that is, this is an excellent book and full of helpful insight into what is a terrible affliction for many.

This is worth getting if you have alcohol issues.It goes well with chalk talk on you tube.
