I live in an apartment and the little dog in the unit right across the hall is always barking and it's really obnoxious, so it was very disappointing and frustrating that this product didn't have any effect on the dog, no matter which frequency I set it to, and in fact wouldn't even go off when the dog barked. The sensitivity was weird, it's supposed to be triggered by the sound of a dog barking and automatically emit a pitch. It would go off if I made a noise, like closing a cabinet, but not when the dog barked... Maybe it's meant for bigger dogs with deeper barks? This one has a high-pitched yap. I found myself manually triggering the device by shaking it or tapping on it to get it to go off, and I was well within its range because I was doing it from right at my front door, and no results.

Within the second or third time. No barking. Dog has been barking like crazy for eight years. Only been a week so I don’t know how long it will last but great so far. The on light is a little bright at night.

Totally works for a day. Is not weather resistant, and only is effective up to about 10 feet, I'd need a case of them to keep one in working order around

I tried three units from three different manufacturers. I have two dogs, my neighbors on all sides have dogs. No matter where i placed the units, where i pointed them, what frequency setting i chose, nothing. They had no effect at all. I would stand there and observe all of the dogs and no impact at all. They didn't even notice the units were there. Sorry they just don't work as tested on multiple dogs.

This was easy to setup and has stood up to rain but unfortunately my dogs are still barking. I’ve tried it out in different locations and the results were the same; it didn’t deter barking.

My dog seems to know that this thing does not like his barking and he continues barking anyways.Pros:small, multiple settings, can be mounted on a wall, can stand on its own, weather resistant, rechargeable, charge lasts a long time, blinking light can be helpful.Cons:does not seem to deter barking, blinking light can be annoying, first two settings can be heard by humans

I hate writing these reviews but I bought this mainly on reviews. It Does Not Work. No effect, not even when place on top of the kennel. The speaker/emitter broke loose during shipping and I had to open the case to fix it. Garbage low quality product, I question the authenticity of the reviews.

I purchased this for my barking Sheltie, i started on the low setting, he pretty much ignored it, turned it all the way up and it has done nothing other than annoy us with its noise, the dog could care less about it.
