Weaver Leather Diamond Braid Rope Halter and Lead

Fits a little big for my taste but over all great product the reflective part was a good bonus.. perfect for evening rides..

I need a stronger halter if this one is made from leather.

Unlike other reviewers, I really like the material of this product and it seems well woven. However, two big issues... When I took it out of the packaging, the knots were already coming out and it's a BEAST to reknot them tight. One knot I literally cannot even get to retie. Second, it's HUGE. Feels like it's made for Draft horses, like many others stated. Unfortunately for me, this is going back.

This is a nice soft halter, which is what I wanted. It's easy to tie and adjust. The reflective thread "feels weird" when you're trying the halter, but I got used to the feel and it doesn't affect the overall product. Only bad thing ... The color is already starting to fade in the sun.

Better than expected. Not a big fan of nylon lead ropes and the rope burn they can give you, will probably swap for cotton rope. I like the thicker rope on the halter.

This is a good halter and lead rope but is very soft so not really appropriate for ground work. Good to just lead and tie your horse. I keep this around for a spare when helping move horses.

Really love this halter. It looks great on my mare. The bottom knot that goes under the chin though is a little to close to the front knot where the lead rope is so it was a little hard to fit it properly on my mare at first but it's good now as I've had it for a few months. I love it a lot other than that. It is very flimsy and not firm or stiff, so it won't keep its shape. For me it's not a problem although I do like them to its not a big deal but if your training young ones I can see why you may want a stiffer option.

Rope doesn’t hold a knot

This is a nice halter and seems well made. Fits our 18 month old filly fine and will also adjust to fit her as she grows. The lead is not as good quality and I find it a bit slippery in my hand when I am leading my horse. It has a melted knot ( so it won’t come off) holding it onto the halter so it would be hard to change to a better lead. All in all, for the price, I am happy with my purchase.

I love the colour I matches nicely with my chestnut. The rope halter is Well made and will last long. The lead rope however is poorly made. All in all great product. (Bought a second one for my mare.

Having looked at several halters, I chose this because it was the colour my daughter wanted. It's been a really good choice. I wondered if the rope would be too short for what I required but everything is just right. I've moved a couple of the knots to create a better first for my individual horse and it's working really well. Thrilled with it.
