Why did you choose this product over others?: My greatest flaw is buying cheap tools and accessories for filming - which sometimes don’t work, or break quickly. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PRODUCTS! For £36 this simple little doodad is the coolest and most useful thing that any content producer should get. Yes, the instructions are crap, yes you need a second phone to run the autocue app, yes their native app is a bit pants - but spending another £10 (tops) on a Teleprompter app is absolutely worth it to make this work. That’s £46 you’ll spend, vs the £150+ for a ‘proper’ kit. I’ve managed to balance this on a dslr gimbal, and do some really cool shots with a speaker in motion. Also I didn’t realise you get a mount for a phone camera too. Again, so simple, so worthwhile. Have some faith, watch a YouTube vid (there’s loads of them) to figure out how to use it (again, not hard once you watch someone else put it together). If I sound overly excited, it’s because 90% of low-priced camera tech and accessories are just tat. And I feel like an absolute villain finding this beauty amongst it all!

I was very taken aback by the strength and build quality. This is a solid, well made teleprompter. It comes with at least a dozen types of metal connectors for camera lenses, or tough felt connectors for mobile phone and includes a blutooth controller to connect with any teleprompter app. I chose the option to include a mini tripod and this is also of extremely strong build quality and with its legs extended gives perfect balance for the complete unit. Great build quality and exceptional value for money.

May be okay for recording on a smart phone with another as the monitor ... but all the weight on a mirrorless or DSLR camera (including the phone used as the monitor) gets hung from your lens filter thread - stressing/jamming up your autofocus and potentially breaking your valuable lenses. Very poor - avoid

This is a great piece of kit - a spontaneous purchase but one I am glad I made. It works well with my phone - although you do need two phones (one to film on and one for the teleprompter app). It makes such a difference and makes things much more professional! Good value. I have used it a lot. There were no instructions in my kit and the manufacturer said they would send me one but I have no idea where they sent it to and I admit, I have been too busy to chase them up! The kit itself is really easy to use so lack of instructions didn't stop me but I haven't mastered the remote yet - perhaps the instructions would have helped there. I gave up with that quite quickly and don't really need it as I space my text to accommodate the changes in speed I want. What would be really helpful is if it would come with a travel or carry bag. The thing I worry about most is it getting scratched when I go anywhere outside the home with it. It's not large but it doesn't easily fit into anything either! The hardest thing I found was finding a good app to go with this. Most of them require subscriptions, but some don't give you chance to experiment with the app before purchasing. A lot of them are called 'Teleprompter' so I can't easily tell you which ones they were, and I am sure it is different on iphone and android. I tried three different apps before I found one that works for me, and the one I found was one I had to pay for up front - I was very relieved when it did everything I needed!

This pice of kit is worth twice the price. It is made of plastic but as long as you don’t throw it down the stairs it will be fine. It dose the job very well. I use it with a go pro with great results.

Parfait, tout est en excellent état de fonctionnement comme le descriptif le dit, j'ai pu le visser directement sur l'objectif de ma caméra ce qui est juste parfait. Conforme. Le seul bémol c'est l'utilisation de la télécommande qui est pas incroyable du coup je ne m'en sert que pour faire play/pause. A part ça c'est tout bon.

The product in general is good and does its job well. It is lightweight so you can use in on your lenses without additional support, the text is well visible on the mirror without affecting your exposure. The biggest issue is that the product does not support focal lengths less than 35mm so you will keep seeing black bars around your frame. I believe this is important information that should be written in the product description.
