Ordered (and it shipped) on a Friday, and received on Monday morning, so it was the quickest delivery I've had in years of Amazon orders, and all the more remarkable that it was over a weekend. This is after twice ordering similar products from two other vendors who failed to deliver after a month. Product is as described and fully functional.These shields are about chin length so there are longer versions available. They wrap around roughly from ear to ear. Plenty of room inside for mouth masks and my big nose. Window material is optically clean and quite crisply transparent with no ripply effects. There are thin plastic films that must be removed from both sides before use; these are not conspicuous so reviews of poor visibility might trace back to failure to remove both films. I get slight condensation across the top of the window under stagnant air conditions but that is not the fault of the product, and far less than would occur with goggles. My doctor laughed when I showed up for my annual physical wearing one, but acknowledged its usefulness for eye protection from respiratory droplets and inhalation risks.These inspire a sense of protection and are comfortable to wear for hours on end on a hot day while making it virtually impossible to touch the face without complete removal. While not intended for protection from impact, they are certainly sturdy enough to deflect light hurtling objects and dust or liquids. I can just barely wear a baseball cap and a straw hat over it but a chin strap would be advised for sun protective hats.

The elastic is a little tight, at least in the one I've tried on. I have a relatively small head (22.5" circumference) for an averaged size woman (5'5" 150 lbs). I intend to use these when family goes on airplane later this month. Wearing it for only a few mins started to give me a head ache. Gonna have to wear it every day for a little longer to get used to it, or I may have to cut it and add some more elastic. I'll update in a couple of weeks.Otherwise the foam is very comfortable and it's as clear as could be expected for a thin piece of plastic but it does get glare. It's very well protected with film coverings on both sides of the viewing plastic. Each mask comes in its own bag that you could stick in you pocket so you can put the mask in it when you remove it. It reaches to about an inch below my chin level and has ample clearance for both a pair of glasses and a 3D face mask up to 3" deep.

Update. After looking again at a video, seeing the front protective film goes all the way to the top, unlike what the directions said, I tried just rubbing my thumb across the front top edge and the film lifted just fine.The protective film was easy to get off the front. I could feel the edge, used a small sharp scissor to get it started. The back however, no edge to feel anywhere. I tried everything, bending, scoring with small sharp scissor blade, poking with a sharp awl. I can feel the film move a little where I've been working on it the most, but can't get it to tear so I can get a hold of it with tweezers to pull. I'll have to grocery shop with bleary visibility. I looked at several others in the package, without unwrapping can easily feel the edge of the film on the back, but not on the front. I saw the video of one person able to work film up with just a fingernail, on the front he film went all the way to the top, she easily removed it. Mine isn't doing that. Frustrating!

These are the best, lightweight shields I’ve found. I tried another less-expensive brand, and that was a mistake. The other brand had to be assembled, while this one is individually packaged, with the headband already attached. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Unwrap from the plastic envelope, peel off the protective film (inside the shield and out), and put it on.It would appear that some other reviewers here didn’t realize there is a protective film on both sides of the shield. That film has to be peeled off prior to use, then it’s very clear.I’ve tried wearing eyeglasses under the shield, but with my K-95 mask on, the glasses fog every time.As for Covid protection, I wouldn’t consider this a mask alternative. This shield is in addition to wearing a mask. Covid is airborne, and wearing just the shield in a highly trafficked area would not be enough, in my opinion. You’ll want some sort of mask to go with this.

I am a teacher and we just returned, today, for a full day of staff development. I wore a mask and this shield. I am in my late 50's and was very concerned about going back to mix with more people, all at once, than the total number of people I have been exposed to since Spring.The mask was very comfortable and provided completely clear vision. In fact, I would completely forget I had it on, except when I would go to take a drink. I kept my drink, with a straw, in a plastic, Ziplock gallon bag. Then brought the bag under the shield, slid open the bag, drank from the straw, the closed the bag again, still under the shield. It worked. But that was the only time I would remember I had it on.Last thing - when you get the masks, don't forget to peel off the plastic film on each side of the shield. It's going to be like looking through wax paper, if you forget.

The shield is not uncomfortable to wear & I appreciate the feeling of another layer of protection, especially because I have risk factors. I still wear a mask with it while in publicI purchased these face guards because when I put my glasses with a mask, my glasses fog up. With the face guard on, I can drop my mask below my nose to clear the fog from my glasses & breath better until my glasses clear, while maintaining social distance of course.The only downside so far is that I have found way to clean the shield without it losing the same level of clarity it arrived with. I still hope to find a way.

To light duty for our purpose

I like: it is big enough to protect my face. I bought it to wear when im snowblowing, keeps the wind from blowing the snow back in my face. For that it works perfect!I dont like: its blurry even after you remove the protective film. Makes you dizzy looking through it after 10 minutes. its like wearing someone elses prescription glasses2 stars cuz it fits and is big enough, -3 stars for being blurry

The main problem is these face shields are not completely crystal clear. Don't get me wrong, you can see through the shield, but not fine details of what you're doing. I'm working with stone and needed eye/face protection from debris flying around, but I can't see the finer details of what I'm doing. Maybe a bright light on the area will help with that, I'd have to try it and see.
