Move over “Beats” and “Street”.
To start these are the best headphones I have ever used to date. They look and sound great. In my opinion the sound better than “Beats Studios” and the “Streets by 50”, and they are cheaper. Overall quality is great, they feel strong in hand, but yet are fairly light. The silver look is killer but can attract a lot of fingerprints, but that’s a very minor thing. These headphones are very comfortable, and feel good even after long listening sessions. I can even wear my glasses with these on and get no pain or discomfort at all. Now for the most important trait sound quality and use. They sound great with and without the active noise cancelling (ANC) on. But when you turn it on the base hits harder and the volume shoots up, so I recommend always using the (ANC) unless your just watching a video on YouTube or in a quiet room. The (ANC) does a good job and blocking out noise and holding in you music, but some sound gets in and some gets out, defiantly not enough to be a deal breaker. All in all these headphones are great and get a thumbs up in every category (style, comfort, sound quality, noise cancelling). I highly recommend this product.

Decent headphone, good price.
It's not bad. I actually like the headset. I struggled with the Noise Cancelling feature during the first week or so. I could feel the pressure to my ear when I turn it on, super uncomfortable, also adding the pressure inside the plane too. But, i later found out that was mainly because I was listening to training videos. Noise Cancelling feature work awesome when I listen to music (constant sound, full spectrum of base, trebble, etc... versus a single voice of a trainer). With music, I felt less pressure on my ears and actually really enjoy the headphone. Pros: - it works - light enough. - fit my big head. (i have a big head) - work in both Noise-Cancelling and non-noise-cancelling mode Cons: - People can hear what I'm listening to if I turn on Noise-Cancelling in the office (flight is too noisy for neighbor to hear it, I think). Like I said, this is my very first headphone, so I don't know if this is how Noise-Cancelling suppose to work. I just don't like it, so it's a CON. :) - short cable. I ended up buying an extension core so I can use it on my desktop at home. - Big...

HUGE, Heavy, LOUD
Set the switch in the battery box to Lo, as Hi is ridiculous. I can hear system messages, tones, and beeps with them laying on my desk at work. Constantly turning everything down to keep the volume at a reasonable level, although one old MP3 player, with especially weak audio output is a great pairing for these. These things are very big, and very heavy, and have so much clamping force, or maybe it's the size of the cups, but they give me headaches after a couple of hours, so not good to keep a lid on all the noise at work. (If anyone else wants to flay the skin off of the ass that invented cubicles, I'll bring a knife and help!) These do OK with low-frequency noise, but in addition to not folding flat, I doubt they would do much good with the high-frequency noise of an airplane. Not a good application for these. They are well-made AFAICT, and attractive, and while having 4LEDs to light the ear-cups is a bit much, the 2 AAA batteries needed to power those give it a LONG run-time, especially on Lo. This is important because these are not supposed to be powered by NiMh batteries. The lights are actually kind of nice when listening to music at night, winding down at the end of the day, in an otherwise dark room. Kind of hating this, but will probably have to return them due to constant headaches. These were replacements for the Creative HN-900 Noise Cancelling Headphones , whose noise-cancelling malfunctioned and started letting loose with a deafening "POP" every few minutes. Yeah, really. PS: I've decided to keep these for home use, as I live in an apt and try to be a good neighbor. The design philosophy for these was definitely "more is MORE, and still more is even MORE", but if you like that, you'll love these.

Sound Canceling GOOD / Music quality AWFUL!!!!!
I was really pumped when these arrived because I fly a lot. The product looked really nice and the illuminated rings were styling BUT..... the sound quality was beyond terrible. Vocals were incomprehensible. Treble was faint and tinny. NO mid range at all. Only bass came through. I listened to George Thoroughgood, AC/DC, Wilson Pickett, Led Zep and the Stones. All the vocals were warbled and in the background. It was all I could do to make out the words. I would rather fly with earplugs than listen to distorted music. I tried the music with the phones powered up or turned off. NO difference in the sound quality. That's weird since I thought it was the noise canceling circuitry that was playing havoc with the music. The noise cancellation was GOOD. I couldn't hear my wife talking to me (no comment) I stood next to a vacuum cleaner running and then a box fan and then a bathroom fan. It cut out the low frequencies VERY WELL. Comfort was better than average. Still a little pressure on the crown of your head since these are big phones. The ear cups was well padded and articulated well to fit my head. Not too much pressure on the side of the head. Overall.... not worth the $114 even if it's less than 1/2 of MSRP. The styling is great but the performance is really terrible. Either they have ZERO quality control at the factory or what I bought was a fake made in some backroad shack in mainland China (chill, I'm Chinese) Returned for refund.

Could be better
Unfortunately I was rather disappointed with this product despite the number of positive reviews about it. The sound it produces isn't bad, but it is definitely not fantastic. It just sounds normal. Bass sounds shallow. Vocals/Treble are not crisp. Somehow gives you sounds that do not sound dynamic. I once had a Philips headset which costs me less than $20 and that actually sounds better. Noise cancellation is ok. This is my first headset with noise cancellation so I do not know how good they can be. You can still hear slight noises outside, such as the fan blowing etc. Sounds produced are much louder with noise cancellation on so it might help in drowning out the noise outside. Build wise it is quite good. Plastic feels much more sturdy than Beats. Cushion at the top of the set is quite comfortable.

Great headphones
I've been using a set of V-Moda Crossfades for about 2 years now, and I love them. However, I wanted something that would cancel noise. I borrowed a pair of my friend's Beats headphones and they were great, but nothing really come close to the price, comfort, and sound of The Soul SL300MS. For the money, they're hard to beat. They sound better than my V-Modas and Beats surprisingly, and have a great active noise cancelling feature that works well in my busy office. I was quite surprised by their performance. No, they're not $500 with perfect audio reproduction, but they sound better than your run of the mill $100 headphones: much better in fact. I added an EQ to my desktop at work and an EQ app to my android and they sound even better with those features engaged (as any headphones likely would). They do leak sound a little, meaning people around you can hear what you're listening to when noise cancelling is engaged and you've got them really cranked. I'm very glad I didn't get the Beats, although I know many swear by them. And as hard as it was to put away my V-Modas, these just sound fuller and are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn (8 hours + with zero comfort issues). Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Great Headphone with pros and cons
I just got the Soul Sl300MS headphones today and i had already looked up reviews of the headphones prior to actually ordering them. So i kinda knew what to expect. Well when i first opened the box that amazon had sent the headphones in i was a little surprised because the box of the headphones themselves looked different than the boxes i had seen of reviews on youtube. In my head of course i was thinking "Oh great i got a fake pair of headphones" but thankfully that weren't. I googled images of the exact same box that i received and found out that it is in fact the correct box they are supposed to some in, so don't panic if the box looks a little different than the others. The headphones themselves are actually really cool looking and they have great sound. A lot of people put down the headphones mainly because they say "They have too much bass or too much highs" but then again they are comparing them to headphones such as bose which seems to be for more "Business" type of people. Everyone knows that they are looking at this headphone because it has cool looks and better sound than your stock apple ear buds. Although one thing i had heard about these headphones is that they leak sound... a lot. This is true. I played music through the headphones at a decently loud volume and the headphones did leak sound. So don't plan on using these headphones in a library or something lol. I will say this though. If you do plan on buying these headphones, get them here on amazon while they are cheap because i have been watching the prices of the headphones for quite a while and the prices are always changing.

Headphones with a really nice construction
Well i'm not expert but this headphones sounds very well, had the most fashionable design and look, i have a beats solo hd headphones and i decided between the beats studio and the Soul SL300MS, i'm very happy i did the best selection, the shape, design and materials of this headphones are better than the beats studio, if you have both in your hands, the Soul SL300MS looks better, beats studio looks like a cheap headphones. Sound Quality is only good, i think sennheiser headphones deliver better sound, if you are a casual user, maybe you only want to listen your music from your ipad or smartphone during a airplane travel or maybe in your house during your mother or sister watch something in tv, this headphones make a really nice job, and the price is a very good deal. The only issue that you maybe have is the size, this headphones looks some big, but not heavier than other headphones like beats studio, maybe Soul SL300MS is not the best option for your office in other places good, but in offce i don't know.
