Nut Replacement/Lock for Trailer Ball - Prevent Trailer Theft (Black)

This is a must have for any Reese Hitch trailering system. Easy to install, extremely well made, and they even provided me a HUGE wrench to remove the old nuts and install the new locks. Great product, highly recommend.

Great concept yet nobody else thought about trailer theft by 1 nut removed? This appears to be very well made & designed, I would love to rave about how good it is but I DIDN'T GET MY WRENCH that WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED WITH MY ORDER so I can't install it. I haven't had my question about my MISSING WRENCH answered either.. where is customer service when you need it? RJ Lock? Amazon?? HELP!!

The lock is the highest quality and would buy again but the included nut wrench must be worth $20 or more and may never use it again. A pipe / adjustable wrench would have done the job.

The RJ Lock comes with a replacement ball nut that fits into a metal sleeve, which is tamper-proof when locked. Also included is a lock washer, 2 keys, a key-holder, and the hitch ball wrench. Amazon unfortunately failed to put the wrench in my shipment and offered two ways to make up for it, although neither option was appealing. I reached out to RJ Lock who resolved the matter fairly quickly at their own expense, even though it was Amazon’s oversight, not theirs. Bravo RJ Lock! For my inconvenience, Amazon added a small promotional certificate to my account and says it will make sure it doesn’t happen again, so that’s not bad either. My ball is 1 7/8” with a 1” shank and the RJ Lock fits perfectly. Good to see American ingenuity come up with such a nice product from some really nice folks.

No one to my knowledge had tried to steal my boat of the back of my truck but this nut replacement ball hitch lock is a great design and I can see how it will help deter a would be criminal. While it won't prevent the theft it will surely send them elsewhere to do their dirty work.

I would have given a 5 Star rating if the product came in different size applications. I had to drill out my Hitch tung to get it to work. Drilling hardened steel is no easy task.
