Bruce's books are the best! He has great advice and his tips really work! I highly recommend all his books. My two "must read" suggestions are How to Get a Man Without Getting Played and Texts So Good He Can't Ignore. I really wish I'd read these years ago! Bruce breaks everything down and makes it all so easy to understand and he has helpful tips for implementing his advice. It just takes practice!

The book is okay. There was quite a bit of repetitive news but for someone new to dating or returning to the dating scene, it can be helpful. My main criticism of the book is feminine graceful mess is brought up quite a bit without no explanation of what it is and how to embody it. Another reason the book is just okay is because it is written from the perspective of proving yourself worthy of a good man which isn't feminine at all. Women's desire to cater to men is their right and not something that should be done to solely appease the male gaze.

So many don'ts that are unrealistic if you're trying to be your "authentic" self. Felt like I had to change who I am to be with a good man. I definitely can relate to making some changes however with so many demands on us women it's nearly impossible to accomplish without playing games. Disappointing to say the least.

Even the (small amount) of info that isn’t super sexist and patronizing is just common sense re: how to be a decent human to other humans.To sum this book up (so you don’t waste your time) :ALWAYS look sexy, but not slutty. Be a Virgin. Tell your man how AMAZING he is at all times and NEVER have an opinion/complaint. Serve him a beer and give him a blow job after a “Long day of work”. Have sex every time he wants to- no matter what. Do not be smarter or “act”smarter than your man -actually, just don’t think at all; just keep your hair done, makeup on, beer in hand, smile on your face and legs open. Voila!

Good read. Straight to the point honest and upfront rules-with a quick why. Some of it seems like it would be common sense, but most times many women are not as aware when we get into relationship and get emotional from time to time. It's a super quick read. I personally did not find it sexist or offensive, the writer seems pretty progressive in his mindset.

Most horrible , disgusting book i have read , he disrespects women, telling them to keep their vaginas clean, and after a hard day, give your man a blow job, even its a bad one !!! And to shut your mouth !! WTH !!! I would give this book negative stars , and MY dad respected me to much to give me any of his lame advice !! The only purpose this book serves is kindling for my fire place today !!

I almost never write reviews on Amazon, but I had to log on right after finishing this because I really enjoyed this quick read about men. It was short, sweet, and not belittling in any way toward women, which I appreciated. I can safely say that the content of this book matches a lot of what my boyfriend constantly tells me he needs, wants, and appreciates. The content seems very credible and is written in a "from a father to a daughter" style. That said, the content is beautifully and simply articulated in a way that I don't think most fathers could achieve.I genuinely think every woman needs to read this book with an open mind. I myself used to be a very aggressive female in relationships because that's what worked well for me in the workplace. I learned to tone it down quite a bit when I met my current boyfriend who taught me graciousness, patience, and kindness. we've been together for over a year now and I couldn't be happier.Thanks to the author for reaffirming some things I already knew and showing me even more ways I can communicate effectively with men.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it to be interesting, relevant and packed full of practical wisdom. So grateful for the down to earth, open hearted sincere sharing. Refreshing and eye opening in so many ways. Very enlightening and I highly recommend this book to everyone looking to build a mutually beneficial long term relationship/marriage.

Usually love books by this author but I got to number 15 and thought what absolute tosh and flies in the face of he teaches in other books.

If this book says the true then Men are the most weakest creatures un the world , It is a pity.

Comprehensive overview of what makes a man tick. Quick and to the point. Easy to read and to understand. A good guide for daily life. Not overfraught with many examples, but that also makes it difficult to figure out what to do in a certain situation. Still, very valuable .
