Paul Laine's debut to Danger Danger
This CD (as with Poison's Crack A Smile CD) took many years of litigation to release. This is a really great straight forward CD from an "80s" band. Paul Laine's CD is much better cause he can handle the higher range and the changing of the songs from Glam Metal to straight forward rock during the late 80s.

Should have been a huge third release for D2
I'm sure the majority of fans know the story of this record already. “Cockroach” was originally recorded in 1993 with Ted Poley on vocals; however, issues arose within the band and Ted was booted/quit. The band did not want to end its run, and recruited singer extraordinaire Paul Laine to tackle vocal duties for future releases (including a re-recording of this album).Sound wise this album is absolutely fantastic from start to finish; it is simply a terrific follow-up to one of my favorite records of the genre, "Screw It." The “Ted version” of the album is my favorite, but Paul’s version is no slouch either. The songs on this album are chalked full of melody and lush harmonies, and the production easily makes you forget that it released in 1993. Songs like "Tip of My Tongue," "Sick Little Twisted Mind," and "Afraid of Love" are all standouts on the record, but there isn’t really too much in the way of filler present. The biggest problem with this album is the price. It’s most definitely worth checking out if you like Danger Danger, but finding it for a decent price is really a trick sometimes. I am certain you will not be disappointed in any way, and I’m sure you'll thank me later!

Danger Danger

Capolavoro...doppio
Top.
