I used these TV Wall Fixings to mount a 32” flat screen TV on a wall that I had installed insulated plasterboard on, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. After a lot of messing about with a particularly dodgy wall trying to hang a heavy radiator using normal wall plugs, ordered and used these, a unique anchor system using metal sleeves to bridge the gap behind the plasterboard, and extends into the brick behind - worked perfectly first time

These are great for broaching the gap between plasterboard and brick wall when all your walls are dot & dab. Used them for the kitchen cabinets and seem to be really solid.......however, be careful when inserting them as they are easy damaged when tapping them in (prior to the metal sleeve).

I was installing a IKEA LACK floating shelf unit on a dot and dab wall due to it sagging down alot when putting stuff on it I decided to use this. Great product and did the job. A little bit expensive was thinking of doing back to back drill bits Some tips before going ahead: 1. Use a longer drill bit they provide 100mm length however I bought a cheap 200mm drill bit and drilled to around 120mm as the wall plug seems to almost not fit with in all the way with 100mm 2. Use SDS drill to make a hole if you can. I used a standard combi drill even though it had a hammer function as well it took around 5 mins to drill the hole all the way. When you have to do 6x of these in a dot and dab wall you shake around alot but did not affect the use tho. But I imagine it will be a cleaner hole with an SDS drill. 3. You will notice the plasterboard gets a large hole inside dont worry its normal 4. Once the hole is drilled to around 120mm I would advise blowing out the dust instead of using a vacuum cleaner its much better 5. When tapping in the metal part it may get stuck out a bit however I had an impact driver and just put the screw inside and this went in fine after it. Dont start smashing it in as the plasterboard will break if you do this too hard. Not sure if screwing in would have work but perhaps give this a go Overall a good product it make the IKEA LACK shelf not slack down as it was before with standard drill bits.

Very easy to use and seems very sturdy

Great product for using on dot and dab walls, they have a metal insert that bridges the void between the plaster board and the brickwork transferring the load to the brickwork. They are successfully holding an 85" 50Kg TV via a full motion TV mount. I used 8 of them (bracket came with 4 fixings) just to make sure the load and weight was well distributed. All in all perfect for this application.

Very useful having the correct size drill bit included, it made installing these very easy and they seem very secure as the load is taken by the block wall and not the plasterboard in front so they work on our dot and dab walls really well.

Had cinder blocks behind our new construction and there was a cm of space behind the drywall, so I couldn’t just ise any anchor. Plus, it is the ONLY place to put the TV. These were the perfect solution to my problem and it avoided the crazy things people were saying to do. Holds my 75” TV just fine.
